Metro doesn't have switches outside court house, but it does have some at Rosslyn. #wmata ATC personnel are manually setting the outbound switch @ Rosslyn to keep trains moving.
Orange/Silver/Blue line trains are delayed in both directions due to this signal issue. Switches @ both Rosslyn and Clarendon are clamped, slowing trains down. Court House is also being bypassed due to the power outage causing all of this.
Single-tracking between Pentagon City and Braddock Road continues. All trains on the DC-bound track. Some trains will skip some stations in the single-tracking area if there's another train behind. #wmata is still investigating the underlying track circuit issue(s).
Orange/Silver/Blue line delays due to a signal problem @ Federal Center SW. Delays both directions. #wmata
Trains are still stopped at both directions @ Federal Center. Two train operators need to leave their trains and go down to the tracks to secure switches before trains can move again. It'll take a few more minutes.
I keep forgetting when #wmata Board day is. There are so many meetings these days.
Metro received an unmodified opinion of its FY20 financials from the RSM auditing team. There're still some outstanding questions on CARES act funding implications due to lack of guidance/clarity from the Feds, but that's not on #wmata
The auditors (Dan Bonnette) heaped praise on #wmata for how the process went, exchange of info, etc., esp w/everything done virtually. For maybe 1st time in his years on the #wmata account, "I don't think a single deadline was missed by management"
Inbound Orange/Silver/Blue delays due to a switch issue at the Stadium-Armory junction (where switch replacement work was done this past weekend) #wmata
The Stadium-Armory junction is again causing Orange/Silver/Blue delays today. Switch 11 is today's culprit, though the root cause is unknown (yet). #wmata
