5 Powerful life lessons from Triciabiz.

Triciabiz made $100,000 (~N40m) in 3 days selling her Knowledge.

For context, she is Nigerian.

Her progress got Facebook's attention and they reached out to collaborate with her on a project.

But it wasn't always so.
After she left her well paying marketing job, she became broke and didn't know what to do.

She started hosting physical trainings, which didn't really make much money.

She was charging somewhere around N3k to N5k

But she observed that attendees loved her teaching style so much
they said it was the best they ever attended.

She loved teaching, but still hadn't found how to break through and make money with it.

Until, she hosted a webinar, several years ago, where she charged N3k and made N400k.

This sparked a new hunger and inspired a new journey.
She decided to stay consistent and it has paid off.

She is proud to be a success story out of Nigeria, & Africa, changing the false narrative held about us as a people.

Why am I telling you this?

I don't know.

Maybe I want to share 5 lessons I have personally learnt from her
1. What you have is enough for you to start.

As a creator, you always think:

"Maybe I should read one more book, then I'll be ready"

"I just need to take one more course and I'm set"

"In 3 month's time, I'll be good to start"
The ugly truth is, that is the excuse we tell ourselves for being afraid to take action.

Am I saying we should not prepare?

No.

I'm saying that what you have is enough to start.

And just so you know:
"You will never feel like you are ready.

The only time you feel ready is after death

Or

After it has become obvious you can't execute the idea anymore."

Think about the plans you had last year that you never acted on because you thought

'I am not ready'
Do you feel now that you actually had what it took to get it done?

That's how you'll feel about your current ideas.

You think you are not ready?

Wait till someone else does it,

Or

Till this time passes and you realize you were actually ready.

You are ready when you decide.
2. Start small, don't wait till you have all the answers.

You may not be an outlier.

You may not win the awards immediately.

You may not be an Omah Lay who bursts into the scene and becomes an instant impact in your industry.

Start with what you have.
3. Focus on really helping people.

Tricia's goal now is to empower 500,000 business owners before 2030.

The more people you can help, them money you make.

The faster you help people, the father you make money.

Wealth is not in places, it is in people.
4. We are in the world of the micro consultant.

That knowledge you have.

That experience, message, idea can fetch you good money...

As long as...

It solves a problem for people.

You don't need a fancy office.

You need your brain power and access to the internet
5. Start creating more than consume.

Create things.
And that reminds me, why have you abandoned that book you started writing?

Why haven't you even started it?

What if that book is just supposed to be a bridge to a bigger opportunity?

And until you write it, that opportunity won't come?
Could it be that you are the one standing in your way?

What if the prayers you've been making to God, you are the one with the answer?

What if you are the one preventing the answer from showing up?

Wake up.

Yesterday I had a phone call with a member of one of my paid communities.

She works a 9-5 but started a medical supply business a couple of months ago.

She supplies hospitals and medical facilities.

Of course, as a start up, she's having several challenges.
We talked about those challenges yesterday, one of which was funding.

I didn't give her any advice.

I deliberately tried not to.

I only listened to her.

When she was done, I told her I was going to send her a book.

That after reading it, she'll see a solution.
I sent her the book at exactly 9:16pm yesterday.

Today she sent me a message.

After reading the book, she now knows exactly what to do.

And she is jumping into action to implement it.

If I offered you $10,000 to come do a quick job for me, would you take it?

This is only a one day job, there'll be some celebrities there (maybe you'll eventually get to meet that celebrity crush you've been longing for)

After 24 hours, you get your $10,000

Would you take it?
It sure sounds like a good deal.

A very good deal.

What if I told you that to get the money, you'd have to strip naked on Instagram live.

You'll be recorded naked and your nude video will be used to run an ad for a product.

Would you still take this deal?
You obviously won't.

Why?

You value your pride more than the money being offered.

Now that the value of what is being offered is less than what you value most, you won't take it.

How to Grow Your Income By Writing Books. (THREAD)

(Remember to retweet for others)
If you've not written a book yet, you should start one.

And if you've started one, but abandoned it, you should get back to it.

Why?

- writing a book helps you establish yourself as a subject matter expert.

It positions you as an authority in your niche.
- Writing grants you access to high network and networth circles in the business world and opens you up to opportunities.

- It significantly increases your earning power, especially if your work gets endorsed by a respected person or you organization.

In trying to build wealth, one truth you need to face and completely agree with is this:

Having talent does not guarantee that you will be rich.

It is a difficult truth to accept but if you must truly build business empires that will reward you financially, you must accept it.
There are too many people who are talented, yet, they are still miserable.

There are others who don't even have half the talent but are amassing wealth in exponential proportions.
Haven't you seen some truly wealthy people, and when you engage them in a conversation, you suddenly realise:

"Wait a minute, I sound smarter than this guy"?

"I know better than this guy!"

Of course you have.

Reading "48 Laws Of Power" at midnight yesterday taught me something.

I'll share with you.

On Thursday last week, my cousin got a job from an Agency, to create a video story.

One thing about this cousin of mine is her ability to write thought-provoking scripts.
For some reason, she was scared.

She had never created a video before and she was already overwhelmed.

She reached out to me and first thing I told her was:

"Drop the job, forget it and go chill. Let's talk in the evening.

Remember to FORGET IT!"

She was going to argue and
ask me why.

I threatened her:

"If I must tell you why, you must pay for my time. Forget it and go have some fun."

My cousin has worked with me on several different projects so she obliged.

Evening came and we had our talk.
