Alright, bike friends, I just locked in our last spring order. It's the largest single cargo bike purchase we've ever made, so let's get excited about what's coming!! #CargoCult2021 #LdnOntBike
Does anyone still play Mario Kart? I feel like cargo bikes have lots of analogs to the characters in that game... #MarioCargo

Tern HSD: Definitely Toad. Small. Lightweight. So agile in corners. Can fit in small spaces.
Which charcter best represents the Larry vs Harry e-Bullitt? Definitely Mario. "I'ma gonna win!" is the attitude of Bullitt (the fastest cargo bike) The new EP8 Shimano Steps motor is extra powerful, like getting a super mushroom whenever you need it (demo coming!). #MarioCargo
Next up: Urban Arrow Family. It's comfortable and refined, and can haul a ton, and don't be fooled by its comfort: it has the next-generation Bosch motor under the hood. It's longer than it is wide, too, giving a bit of aerodynamic boost. Verdict: Waluigi. #MarioCargo
The Babboe Carve is almost too easy - looks like a barrel. Barrels through the street with its flexible suspension. It's HUUUUGEEEE, and can carry just about anything. Plus its Yamaha motor is the most powerful, too. Verdict: DK & Diddy. #MarioCargo
Finally, the Tern GSD. Svelte and elegant. Smooth and powerful. Nimble and sometimes feels like you're flying. Princess Peach, this is your bike. #MarioCargo
Here's the full preview featuring all these bikes, in a bit more detail. Hope this thread was fun for a rainy day! #MarioCargo londonbicyclecafe.com/news/2020/11/1…

Can't wait, can't wait for the new Tern HSD!
DYK: HSD stands for "Haul Stuff Daily", which is what this bike is PERFECT for. Plus it folds easily so you can take it with you anywhere!

What's awesome about the HSD? Vertical parking for one... live in an apartment? Need to maximize space in your garage? The HSD just fits. Everywhere.
Ahh, look at that perfect office parking space. Better than your current parking space in "Lot H".

Brooks Rain Cape. Rain is coming this week, we think this is one of the best ways to stay dry out there! londonbicyclecafe.com/bike-store/bro…
2. Brooks Barbican Messenger Bag. Not quite impulse-purchase worthy, but durable, beautiful, and timeless. I've had one since 2011 and can say with certainty it's the best bag I've ever owned. londonbicyclecafe.com/bike-store/bar…

This week has continued to be absolutely bonkers at the store. We're doing our best to keep up, but it's a challenge. Everyone is tired. We currently have less than 1/3 of our typical inventory in stock for this time of year. 1/n
Staff have been absolutely incredible. Working extra long days when asked (try to avoid this...), helping out wherever they can, and generally just making shit happen. Thanks y'all. 2/n
Appointments for repairs still require patience. We're booking repair appointments two weeks out for in-store, and three weeks out for mobile. We still have a few flat tire slots every day, so don't worry, we'll get that critical stuff done for you ASAP. 3/n

Hey #LdnOnt, do you know an essential worker who needs reliable transportation to get around during the pandemic? We're offering our rental bike fleet as long-term rentals at $30/week, on a rent-to-own basis. Here's how it works (please share) 👇
Last year we piloted a City Bike rental program. It was superb for travelers coming to visit #LdnOnt, and even for people who live here and haven't tried riding the TVP before. The bikes are A+ quality Breezer Downtowns, easy to ride and operate for just about everybody.
I had a customer who works at a grocery store come in with a bike that needed way more repair than it was worth to buy new. I was at a loss at the time for what we could do to help this young man help us all during a difficult time. It took me some thought, but here's my solution
