Chachro Raid

Whenever history will look at the finest behind enemy lines operations, the Chachro Raid will find a glorious place in it. It was a daring Surgical Strike conducted by 10 PARA SF 80 km deep inside Pakistan, strating the mission on Dec 5
The objective was to strike deep inside Chachro and create a chaos there. It was a strategically important stronghold for Pakistani Army. A hammer strike there would cut off supply line to Pak Army. To complete their mission, the forces travelled over 500 km !
There were two teams : Alpha and Charlie ( possibly 80 commandos in each ). Jeep and Jongas were equipped with MMGs.
In Kita happened an unexpected event. The mission needed stealth , but the movement of the Jeeps and Jongas in silence created racked which could foil mission. But surprisingly enemy abandoned positions thinking that this was a tank column moving!
0400 hours on December 7 Alpha team took positions around town Chachro blocking every exit point, ready to provide cover fire. Charlie team moved in for the offensive at dawn. The teams moved in swiftly and by first light the town had been taken.
After taking Chachro , the mission was continued and one after another strongholds , Virawah , Nagarparkar and Islamkot was captured. The commandos engaged in many places even into hand to hand combats! Ultimately, the reached at Lunio .
Dust of moving vehicles of enemy was spotted and commandos went into ambush ending it quickly . Many enemies we're killed and rest were captured.
36 enemy soldiers were killed, 22 were taken as POW. Huge cache of weapons including a truck was captured ! And Pakistan lost control (temporarily) over a large area .
This classic operation was led by Brigadier (then Lt Col ) His Highness Bhawani Singh (MVC) Maharaja of Jaipur. Some of the images used in thread was for representation purpose . Pic cc to owners.

At no stage has the Indian Army transgressed across the LAC or resorted to use of any aggressive means, including firing.
It is the PLA that has been blatantly violating agreements and carrying out aggressive manoeuvres, while engagement at military, diplomatic and political level is in progress.
In the instant case on 07 September 2020, it was the PLA troops who were attempting to close-in with one of our forward positions along the LAC and when dissuaded by own troops, PLA troops fired a few rounds in the air in an attempt to intimidate own troops.

Debunking Fantasy created around MM Alam

PAF Squadron Leader MM Alam (11 Sqn) is claimed by Pakistan to be only Ace of the continent who shot down five IAF Hunters over Sargodha in a matter of minutes four of which he shot down in a mere thirty seconds.

But there are problems
On 7 Sep, 1965 #IAF conducted six daring strikes against PAF stronghold Sargodha. The mission ended into a success with a heavy blow to PAF which they couldn't recover in that war. IAF lost five aircrafts but Pakistan claimed 10 and tried to fantacise as a deceive victory.
The strike packages were consisted of Hunters and Mystere. It was Strike no 4 (Hunters, Squadron 7) which PAF claim MM Alam got his golden chance.
