2. From your brief, start working on your outline. Start in the middle and build out your sections with bullet points.

2. Once you have your outline done, write an ugly first draft. It gives you something to work with, even if it's not pretty.

3. Once you have the middle done, look at it as a whole to determine what kind of background information you need to share so the reader has relevant context before diving into the bulk of what you’ve written.

4. Now you have a more complete first draft. Next, it's time to self-edit.
-Punch up your title and headings.
-Ask: “But, why?”
-Break down long sentences.
-Reorganize any non-sequiturs.

5. If possible, get a second set of eyes on what you've written.
If not, be sure you've at least run your piece through @Grammarly and @hemingwayapp to check for glaring errors.

6. Finally: Publish. Share. Repeat.
