I joined Twitter in April of this year.

Been blown away by the quantity/quality of the leads it's driven for my agency.

For the longest time, Facebook was my top lead source.

Within 3 months of joining Twitter, this became my new top lead source.

It's wild how well platforms
can produce for you when you're focused on adding value.

I've never once posted a single time on here that I'm looking for clients.

If anything, I post the opposite. That we can't take on any new clients.

And I've only ever posted a handful of times to drive leads for others.
When you do Twitter and social well, you won't need to "beg" for clients.

I've been there, done that, and it's not a good look.

My advice is to focus on building relationships.

How do you do that?

Be helpful.

Be kind.

Commit to giving.

I invest a ton of time and money into
helping others on a daily basis.

Note: Be careful not to overcommit too early.

I am able to invest the time and money because I have a team backing me.

You first need to have insight to offer (expertise).

You need to have a team in place that can execute (bandwidth).

Cheers!

The 20 Commandments of Email.

Lessons from making over $50 Million for clients and building a 7-figure email marketing agency from scratch.

//THREAD//
1) Treat your subs with respect

People didn't sub to your list to be spammed.

People subbed to your list because you have something to offer and they're interested in you.

Keep it that way.
2) Test Everything

-Subject lines
-Email length
-Sending times
-Copy
-Angle
-Preview text

THE 5 MODULES IN MY ADVANCED EMAIL MARKETING COURSE

⬇️THREAD⬇️
1. It's no secret that people hit the unsubscribe button at will.

An unsubscribe rate below 0.5% is a good unsubscribe rate.

99% of people aren't implementing what I teach in this module.

Why? They don't know they can do this.

I show you a way to convert subs that churn.
2. Forms are great for email collection.

However that's all people use them for.

I teach you how to use forms in an untraditional way to drive revenue.

We helped 1 of our clients convert 214 subscribers for a total of $11,310 in revenue in just under a year through this method

Until this year, I never really understood what people meant by “being at the right place at the right time”.

Here’s what that’s meant for me:

- Got started with email marketing in 2015 on the cold email side.

- Crushed it for a few years and got out of the game before GDPR &
CCPA and so forth came into play.

- Transitioned into ecommerce email marketing at the end of 2017.

- Started an agency dedicated to ecommerce email marketing in 2018.

- This year (2020) has been monumental and can be summarized by right place at the right time.

- Was already
doing well in Ecom and with everything that happened this year, Ecom got a whole lot hotter than expected.

- Scaled from 7 full time employees at the start of the year to about 30 full time employees right now.

Being at the right place at the right time is a combination of luck

Today I turn 28 years old.

Thank you to everyone who has sent me their birthday wishes!

And specially to our Twitter corner for making this world a better place.

To celebrate,

Here are 28 business lessons I’ve learned in 28 years.

//Birthday Thread//

Enjoy:
1) Find a network of winners

You can't achieve your dreams on your own.

You need people that will help you when you're down,

And celebrate you when you're up.

Rule of thumb:

If your network wants you to win, you'll win.
2) Trust yourself

Your gut knows more about life than you do.

If something feels right, go for it.

If something doesn't, it's for a reason.

"Trust thyself, every heart vibrates to that iron string."

How I Got 500k Email Subscribers in 10 Months:

Plus lessons on how to get MASSIVE open rates, devoted subscribers and make serious email $$$.

//Thread//
People don't want to give you their email.

With so much garbage, they're skeptical of everything that lands in their inbox.

If you want them to love (and buy from) you, there’s only one solution:

Value.

You have to bring so much value that they will EXPECT you.

But how?
Good question.

By extensive research.

Example:

We wanted to build an email travel series.

So we asked ourselves: "What do these people want?"

We interviewed,

We asked,

We researched,

And finally the idea came to us:
