Dear @nytimes
STOP QUOTING DERANGED LIARS.

You do not have to repeat Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) claims in order to write about yet another preposterous attempt to overthrown election results. Over. And. Over.
nytimes.com/2020/12/13/us/…
The most IMPORTANT part of this story -- historical context -- is buried: Nixon and Gore's behavior as VPs.
Also, this is BS. It doesn't "darken" Biden. It darkens the GOP.

"If even one Republican senator backed the effort, it could ensure that the partisan cloud hanging over the election would darken Mr. Biden’s presidency for years to come"
NEVER MIND THAT THIS IS 100% EDITORIAL COMMENT IN ON THE NEWS SIDE OF THE HOUSE.

You want to publish analysis on the news side? FINE. LABEL IT SO.

But that's two political reporters stating an opinion. Op. Freaking. Ed.

Trying to remember why I keep giving you money, @nytimes
It's past time for Dean Baquet to leave the @nytimes.

Context for Epstein’s demeaning @wsj op-ed — his style since 1970 (@Harpers, Sept). <“Epstein is saying genocide for queers!”>

He has been rewarded for saying out loud what NYC “intellectuals” believe for 50 years.

This is outrage porn.

IT IS NOT HELPING.
It feeds Trump's need to be center of attention.
It amplifies lies.
It makes Trump supporters feel validated in their distrust of the election.
It diverts attention from the SHIT that is going on during lame duck.

JUST SAY NO.
By amplifying his lies, NEWS MEDIA are enabling Trump's lame duck efforts to undermine voter confidence in the integrity of our elections.

NEWS MEDIA are enabling Trump's "fiddle while Rome burns" approach to COVID19.
NEWS MEDIA HAVE enabled Trump's super-spreader behavior by the way they covered his "rallies" and "events".

WHAT'S THE STATUS OF THE INVESTIGATION INTO TRUMP'S USE OF THE WHITE HOUSE ON ELECTION NIGHT?

You have to be shedding enough for tests to work. “About 40% of infections are spread by asymptomatic people with high viral loads” - but without symptoms, they are unlikely to be getting tested. @propublica
Quick tests as used in the US are very flawed. They throw false positives as well as false negatives.

“anyone who gets a single negative result shouldn’t use it as an excuse to go to a bar” or anywhere for that matter
