Due to paucity of time, the court could not hear the app lication for anticipatory bail today.
However Adv. Niranjan Mundargi expressed his apprehension that Sundaram may be arrested in a similar manner as Vikas Khanchandani, CEO, Republic TV.

Taking into account the act by Mumbai Police against Khanchandani, the court diected Special PP Sisher Hirey to either make a statement of 'no coercive action' against Sundaram, or the court will pass an order to that effect.
Hirey agreed to make a statement.
The application will now be heard tomorrow for final relief.
