The goal of Ankara is always to ruin peaceful areas, bombing and creating refugees. Ankara will get backing from the US under claims it is “stopping Iran” even though northern Iraq is one area free of Iran-backed PMU; goal is to destabilize and spread suffering
We’re the jets circling Erbil in recent days related to this? Not sure; but KRG tough statements on clauses, even blaming YPG is part of the goal of Rayburn and the Ankara lobby. KRG being driven to crisis for Ankara and Washington running along behind for no reason again
Shame because KRG deserved to have investment and stability not be used for others agenda. Sadly US supported ejecting them from Kirkuk and Sinjar and now Ankara seeks to destabilize the rest. Of course Iran, Russia win again. Ankara destabilizes. Poverty grows. Region suffers
Ankara will portray this as a joint Iraq operation, and KRG has tried to prevent it with tough statements, goal of Ankara is to carve up KRG between Iran and Turkey, and use Iraq to remove autonomy or Erbil. 
Under current US admin, Kurds were ethnically cleansed from Kirkuk, Afrin, Serekaniye...awful; and all while being “allies” and partners of the US. Piece by piece their areas were destroyed all for Ankara and Iran.
Remember when Ankara invented this story of “PKK” being in Nagorna-Karabakh to excuse attacking Armenians there? Same story.
