So, the counter-initiation, huh? Well little Jimmie, let me tell you a little story (1/15) ...

The counter-initiation is as old as time; some say it goes back to Adam and the Kainites, but in a sense it can be traced back even to the Satanic rebellion itself. Its goal is the subversion of authentic Tradition which will ultimately manifest in the religion of Anti-Christ

Let it be known that Satan too has hierachies and even 'saints' (whom the Muslims call Awliya al-Shaytan: 'the contemplatives of the Devil'); these hierachies are made up of human elements (the satanic elite) and the fallen ones (an inversion of the Chruch & the angelic orders)

Guénon suspects its historical origins in the Atlantian cataclyism, saying it was the crime of Antleans that opened the doors to its malefic influence; this crime might be linked to the affair of the Daughters of Man and the Sons of God told in Gen. 6 shortly before the flood

An indication for this thesis can be found in the Hermetic Corpus where Isis tells us that, when Horus went of to fight against Typhon, 'one of the angles of the highest firmament saw her and desired to unite himself with her'

In Egypt (which said to be the inheritor of the Atlantian tradition) we also find the first trace of the ominous 'donkey-headed god' called Set, a god of chaos and a typical 'trickster'-type (like Loki or Hermes), whom the greeks knew as: Typhon.

As we know from several sources like Josephus, Tertullian & Tacitus, it was also the jews (and consequently the early Christians) who were often accused of worshipping this donkey-headed god in their temple (as also shown in one of the ealiest pieces of anti-christian propaganda)

Where this false accusation comes from is unclear; however it is relatively certain that Set (called the 'god of the east' by the Egyptians) is indeed of semitic origin and corresponds to the biblical Baal, whom the Egytpians accused the jews of worshipping as early as 1500 B.C.

However most evidence points us in fact to the early christian heretics known as 'the gnostics', indeed in one of the gnostic gospels Zacharias is said to have seen a donkey-headed man in the Holy of Holies after which he was killed by the jews for revealing their dark secret.

We find another clue pointing us in this direction in the Corpus Hermeticum, which speaks of the 'Sons of Typhon' when refering to certain dualistic sects (presumably the gnostics). We see thus that the counter-initiation was hard at work, trying to subvert the early Church.

Of these sects St. Epiphanus tells us that they celebrated certain 'gnostic masses', a satanic inversion of the liturgy in which truly unspeakable horrors unfolded and which presumably go back to the 'Typhonic mysteries' of Egypt (and God knows how far more back)

Now as we know a similar 'gnostic mass' was in recent times again popularized by Aleister Crowley; Crowley (who famously tried to summon Egyptian gods) was 'initiated' by his 'guardian angel' Aiwass, who may or may not be identical to the mysterious figure of Lam.

Now Lam has often been seen as an 'alien' and in fact there have been many 'sightings' which match his description. As is well established aliens are actually demons or 'jinn' (which are trickster figures like elves or fairies, linking us back again to the 'trickster-god' Set)

However that may be, these creature pertain to the psychic realm and the Hermetic myth of Isis and the angel has indeed been interpreted as an illegitimate 'mixture' and 'confusion' of the psychic and the spiritual; a confusion which is the very mark of the counter-initiation.

Now where does this leave us? good question. We may only speculate that all these things (gnosticism, modern occultism, 'aliens' etc.) are connected in one orchestrated effort by the fallen hierachies to subvert true Religion and lead people into all kinds of psychic platonisms

In any case we should be vigilant for as the Scriptures tells us 'There shall arise many false prophets and deceive, if it were possible, even the very elect'; so let us pray to St. Michael and the Blessed Virgin, crusher of all heresies to defend us in these latter days.
