This advice worth *at least* $2000

Don't just "add to bookmarks" and forget about it.

Take notes and take action.

Quick PSA. If you get value from this thread, please share it with your fellow Twitterers by RT the first tweet ☝ of this thread.

Now that's out of the way

Let's turn you into a professional writer!
1. Find businesses that need regular content

You'd be shocked at how many good businesses exist that need good content.

A good start is to find subscription based businesses since they always need regular content.
2. Find the "guru" of that market

Every market has a marketing "guru".

Someone that all these business owners (your future clients) look up to for business and marketing advice.

In high ticket sales, it's Dan Lok

In email marketing, it's Andre Chaperon.
3. Stalk Guru's content

-Sign up to their email list
-Read their blog
-Follow their social media

TAKE NOTE of the Marketing advice they are giving to their followers (your future clients)

Let's say the guru is advising people to focus on email marketing.

👇👇
4. See who is engaging with Guru

Pay close attention to WHO is engaging with the guru's marketing and business advice.

These are PROSPECTS who NEED help with their emails (That's why they are engaging with the guru!)
5. Build prospect list

All those people commenting and engaging with the guru's advice/content?

Find their contact info and add it into a Google sheet called "prospect list"

Here's a FREE template (Click file> Make a copy)

docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…
6. Contact prospects and leverage guru for social proof

This is where the magic happens.

Since you've done your research with steps 1-5 you ALREADY have a REASON to contact these prospects...

..by leveraging the social proof of the Guru!

How?

Read on👇
You say something like:

"Hey I saw that you also follow (Guru)... (Guru) recommended email marketing as a way to 2x your sales..."

Then *casually* say you can help them.

"Would you like some help with that? I help X businesses like yours write high converting emails..."
👇
Why this works:

If you're starting out with 0 testimonials, this allows you to *steal* social proof by leveraging the one thing you and your prospect have in common.... THE GURU!

🚨2 objections you might run into

1) "Show me your portfolio"
2) "How does it work?"

👇
"Show me your portfolio"

Usually when people say this, they just want to see some sort of proof that you'll be able to complete the work.

If you don't have a portfolio, create a mock-up/template of whatever your deliverable is and put it in a google doc.
"How does it work?"

You're going to leverage more social proof by investing in @joshualisec's the best way to say it writing system.

Instead of saying "I'm a copywriter" (which is NOT an offer)

You now have an offer to sell by LEVERAGING this system

Here's how 👇
"I help X double their memberships with email marketing by using the best way to say it writing system"

You explain that it's a proven system that's designed to produce high quality content on repeat.

You explain you are not just writing from scratch

Instead, you're going to..
interview them and turn their expertise and knowledge into high converting emails while retaining the authenticity of their voice.

You do this by putting THEIR words through the best way to say it persuasive writing system and churning it into high quality emails

7 fiction books every man must read

//THREAD//
1. Blood Meridian

War and violence are a natural part of men which is why we are so drawn to it.

This book will teach you about the dark reality of human nature.

It is extremely violent, it is raw, it is bloody but in a weird way it is beautiful.
2. Gates of Fire
A fictional account of the battle of Thermopylae, where 300 Spartan warriors were tasked with defending against a Persian army of millions.

This book will teach you about loyalty and honour; two important traits that are rarely found in modern men.

1. Writing is the hardest mental exercise you can perform

Writing is hard.

Don't believe me?

Spend 1 hour writing every day for 30 days.

Sound simple? Most people will give up.

Writing daily will make you mentally tougher because it's hard AF to do.

🎉 I reached 19,000 followers last week.

As a way of saying thanks, here are 19 UNUSUAL TIPS TO HELP YOU BECOME A BETTER WRITER.

🚨Warning: There no shortcuts here but if you're willing to put in the work, these tips will improve your writing.

[THREAD]
1) Be a student of human nature

You are writing to a human audience.

Therefore if you want your reading to resonate, you need to understand who you're writing for.

Every good writer I know is a keen observer of human nature for this reason.
2) Drink more water

If you're dehydrated, your brain won't flow.

Most of the "brain fog" and "writer's block" you feel is very likely because you are dehydrated.

Always keep a big bottle of water with you.

99.99% motivational books belong in the trash can.

There's only one you need to read and that's

The Education of a Body Builder by Arnold Schwarzenegger

Here are the most impactful quotes from it.

[THREAD]
Before long, people began looking at me as a special person.

Partly this was the result of my own changing attitude about myself.
I know that if you can change your diet and exercise program to give yourself a different body, you can apply the same principles to anything else (1/2)
