No, the reason you remind us of these little guys is because they are commonly known as one of the toughest creatures on the entire planet.
Measuring only 1.5mm in length, the tardigrade pretty much doesn’t know how to quit.
They have been found at the bottom of the ocean, the top of Mount Everest, Japanese hot springs and Arctic tundra.
They are INCREDIBLY adaptable to almost anything the world can throw at them, and they look cute doing it.

They can survive severe dehydration, living in conditions that are EVEN DRYER than your social life/ current phone activity.
In fact, Turdigrades are SO resilient that some scientists once put some on the outside of a satellite and blasted it in to space.
When the satellite landed again, it was found that many of the creatures had survived in outer space, and some had even given birth!

Now, we’re not claiming that you could survive in outer space – you’d probably burst in about 3 seconds.
Instead, our point is that the Tardigrade has achieved things WAAAAY beyond anyone’s expectations, and so will you.
