There are two kinds of people in the world -- one, known for their remarkable words and the other known for their work. But former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had the best of both worlds.

Remembering one of the finest PMs we ever had, the man who laid foundation for
#AtmaNirbharBharat.

Listed are few quotes by the eminent poet, leader and a statesman.
1)"Andhera Chatega, Suraj Niklega, Kamal Khilega"!
2)“Satta ka khel to chalega, sarkare aayegi..jaayegi…partiya banegi..bigadegi… Magar Ye desh rahna chahiye, is desh ka loktantra Amar
rahna chahiye”.
3) The first poem that he is believed to have written, on the Taj Mahal, revolved on the exploitation of the workers who built the monument. “Yamuna ki roti dhar vakal, kal-kal chal chal, kal-kal chal chal, jab Hindustan roya sakal, tab bana paaya Taj Mahal,”
4) Vajpayee in 1959 said “The whole aim of China is to reduce the Tibetans to a minority in their own country and destroy the Tibetan personality. It is a new phenomenon, a new type of imperialism”.

5) When he had to resign after 13 days because of lack of majority
"Agar safalta na mili woh alag baat hain. Lekin hum phir bhi sadan mein sabse bade virodhi dal ke roop mein baithenge, aur aapko humara sahyog le kar sahyog chalana padega".

6) During the debate on Pokhran in the Parliament....“Kya atma-raksha ki tayyari tabhi hogi jab khatra
hoga? Agar tayyari pehle se ho, toh jo khatra aane wala hoga, who bhi door ho jayega".
7) In his last Independence Day speech, he closed his speech with a poem he had written 40 years ago "Badhaye aati hain aaye, ghire parlay ki ghor ghataye, paon ke neeche angare, sir par
barse yadi jwalayen, nij haathon se haste haste, aag laga kar jalna hoga, kadam milakar chalna hoga”.

The self-styled social justice intellectuals and parties do not want an India without castes, they want castes without Dharma. This may be profitable to some in the short run but it is suicidal for all in the long run. – Ram Swarup, (12 Oct 1920, Haryana - 26 Dec 1998 ) Image
Ram Swarup was a Sankhya philosopher, Yogi, and Guru of historian Sita Ram Goel. Together they founded the publishing imprint #VoiceOfIndia in New Delhi, to give Hindu intellectuals a voice when the mainstream media refused to give them any time or space.

As @Koenraad_Elst Image
rightly said “In the long run, Ram Swarup will probably prove to have been the most influential Hindu thinker in the second half of the 20th century. He has, at any rate, been a crucial influence on most other Hindu Revivalist authors of the last couple of decades”.

Christian missionaries and British officials presented "nautch girls" of Uttara & "devadasis" of Dakshina Bharat as evidence of "harlots, debased erotic culture, slavery to idols and priests" tradition, and Christian missionaries demanded that this must be stopped
launching the "anti-dance movement" in 1892.
The anti-dance camp accused the dance form as a front for prostitution, while revivalists questioned the constructed colonial histories.
In 1910, the Madras Presidency of the British Empire altogether banned temple dancing.
And then, there were widespread protests across Tamil Nadu, but for couple of decades nothing progressive happened, finally with the help of #KrishnaIyer, this story's Heroine #RukminiDeviArundale came as saviour for the great art #BharataNatyam.
