Already being reported that, as price of an ongoing deal with the #EU on security, UK has had to agree to remain bound by the ECHR, this ruling out any re-write or alteration for domestic purposes of human rights legislation.
That also means still subject to decisions of the judicially activist & expansionist European Court of Human Rights, which though not part of the #EU, nevertheless replicates several unappealing features of the ECJ.
Weren't we (rightly) told that our own Supreme Court should and would be the ultimate judicial authority domestically on human rights?

To abandon this seems a poor trade-off for some nebulous 'partnership' on 'European security', given our Intelligence services already reportedly restrict the info they share with their European counterparts b/c they're said to be so leaky.
Not to mention the potentially damaging effect an obligatory 'security partnership' with the #EU may have on our Anglosphere Five Eyes, which remains by far our most important security relationship.
