WHY SEYI DEY SHAKE 😃
Many matured husbands and perhaps some women will see the consistency in @seyishae's case study tweets. Let me warn aspiring wives in advance, you will likely go through these phases of myriads of confusion, months or years, shortly after marriage.
Women feeling anxious for good reasons and for many reasons that are of no good, will be greatly influenced by Baby Blues,
Postpartum Mood Disorders (PPMD), or a combination of both. These two phenomenon aren't the same. Let Seyi breath. Be prepared, yours is coming. 😃
Now that the new order is SoroSoke, its no longer tenable to judge where people choose to do their dirty laundry, as long as you can sift through answers to the simultaneous equations men will throw at you in marriage. Especially with regards to code of silence imposed on women.
Before you get married, make sure your toilet is a fanciful and well decorated place. That's where women do most of their crying and pondering when men drive them crazy. 🤣
Many husbands wont know there were occasions their women aren't in the loo to use it for its purpose.
Except for physical abuse, nearly everything is tolerable in marriage, if you so wish. My wife's 1st shock was my abhorrence to eating in the same plate and wearing "and co," dresses. My first habit stems from all the meat I lost, eating from the same plate with my elder brother.
The second battle my wife didn't win is the "where are you" cliche sense of insecurity manifestation in newly wedded. How she survived this phase, I honestly don't know. May be, this was providence preparing us both for a job that takes me away half of a year, from a family life.
In many years, it's been my turn to give her absolute peace of mind. She's probably the most secured woman on earth now, in her 30inches bone straight. I've possibly made the years she had wondered if she didn't make a mistake worth it. The disaster lies in men who dont grow up!
I believe women are naturally grommed prepared, right from adolescent, for who they will be when married. If you like, court a man for 100 yrs, many of the attributes he will exhibit, when married will be governed by his ambition, his perception of self and of his social status.
Marriage is blindfolded fashion designing. There'd be times you'll cut the cloth into buba when you want blouse. Its patience that will teach you how to make your wrong designs amenable.
If you follow social media to sew yours, you go wear aam like agbada that has half shoulder.

EVEN IF NIGERIA IS A MESS
I parcelled used Bubas that needed amendment through UK Royal Mail for door-to-door delivery. When it arrived Nigeria, NIPOST EMS called that customs demanded i should pay N27,000. It sounded like a joke because these are used clothes.
After I paid, EMS insisted I have to come and collect a door-to-door delivery at Ikeja Post office. How is it door delivery, if I have to pick it up at Ikeja post office. These are frustrations we face daily. I'm already battling NIPOST to see this practice brought to an end.
The lady that was denied capturing at the passport office, because of her lashes, raised a dust about it. And she returned here to acknowledge the authorities responded and she got redress. What about the law school hijab too? The lady that stood up to it, paved way for others.

THE PROBLEM WITH LAGOS WORLD VIEW
When he was announced president-elect, Joe Biden acknowledged he will make mistakes and would try to correct them. Buhari failed woefully in this regard. But to ask, accountability warriors, how well are you accountable to yourself, to learning?
Y'all will goof less, if you will restrain yourselves to arguing within your limitations. Its very easy to remove 1000 pupils from a school in Sahel North. I served & lived 2yrs in Yobe, where houses are separated by more than 50 kilometres of desert sand in places like Yusufari.
The point is, there are a hoarde of Nigerian twitter citizenry, who have become bewitched with faux pas infallibility standards, induced by a myopic internet psychology of irrational beliefs. Nonetheless, nothing would have changed, if Buhari is the type that admits fallibility.

BEFORE YOU'RE USED NEXT TIME
Have you heard or read about "soft facts?" Read it up. Disinformation communications is a new knowledge domain that embodies use of "soft facts" to steer perceptions and experiences of security and safety at individual, group and institutional levels.
I've parted ways, in some cases physically, in some cases psychologically, with as many people, as much as I have met in life, who turned blind eye to a glaring anarchical circumstances, where hoodlums started burning our things down in Lagos, because there's a point to prove.
If we do an introspective plus-delta, our conscience will see it that firstly and, admittedly, the Nigerian Army's tactics at the Lekki Tollgate is totally unacceptable, irrespective of whatever side of the argument you belonged to. The initial finger pointing made it all uglier.

SEX IN THE SUN
The presence of sunlight may have been the reason why Nigerians have endured and may continue endure lack of electricity. By my estimation, Lagos alone save up to $10Million yearly by using sun to dry clothes, and without a cold weather that requires home heating.
Ekiti and Ondo would need thrice their federal allocation as drying cost for cocoa, cassava and many other food processes that requires drying, if yearly availability of sunlight drops by half. A productive cocoa farmer would need at least 308 million BTU of heat. 1kWh = 3412BTU.
I read it that UK spends ~£100,000 on vitamin D between October, and March of the following year. Its been said vitamin D is crucial to building a formidable immune system. If this is true, God sent us here prepared. We didn't only become fortified through exposures to diseases.

WHEN ARE WE ENDING JUDICIARY?
Nigerian judiciary emerged victorious as #1 on Nigeria's corruption index, with $25Million in offered and paid bribe. A kid sister who excitedly started practise lamented her rude shock of, what reality is, at d registry of Federal High Court, Ikoyi. Image
If a murderous SARS is put before trial, he'll face this same justice system, with a wooden stick used to prevent its symbol of equity from toppling over. Are you truly interested in governance or you hate Buhari, or you are just being used by being part of a topic that's trendy?
Protest remains a viable means of putting pressure on govt to act. And there was nothing wrong with #EndSars, but it remained a joke to see such a viable protest end in conversations about terminating a govt, and lawyers who objected to arrest of corrupt judges are the curators.
