Let’s be clear about what’s happening here:

The Woke Mafia is destroying a girl’s life because of a single word she said when she was 15 — which wasn’t even expressing a racist sentiment. And the NYT’s @globaldan is portraying the asshole orchestrating her destruction as a hero
@globaldan The supposed hero of the story comes across as angry and insecure while the supposed villain appears earnest and well meaning. He attacks his own (white) father, while she’s defended by her own (black) friends.
@globaldan The supposed good guy, Jimmy Galligan, purposefully sits on this 3 second video until he can inflict the most pain; she meanwhile had already apologized before he released it and it’d gone viral. She was even a #BlackLivesMatter supporter!
@globaldan Tell me this guy who is spending all of his energy relishing in the destruction of an innocent girl’s life that he’s not projecting his own racial insecurities — look at how he attacks his own father!
@globaldan Ultimately though he’s still young & deserves some slack for being overzealous. Who doesn’t deserve any is the NYT’s @globaldan; how absolutely shameful for this obstensible adult to portray the targeted harassment of an innocent girl as some kind of heroic act of racial justice
@globaldan Cancel Dan Levin, not Mimi Groves

“Every citizen may freely speak, write and publish his or her sentiments on all subjects, being responsible for the abuse of that right; and no law shall be passed to restrain or abridge the liberty of speech or of the press.”— NYS constitution
Reminder that it’s the New York constitution that matters here as the U.S. Constitution only applies to the federal govt — a point all but forgotten these days
It’s always fun making this point because everyone gets pissed off. The left gets mad because they think the federal government is all powerful; Republicans hate it b/c they believe the 2nd Amendment prevents states from restricting the right to bear arms.

Whenever you see “it’s not hyperbolic to say” you can be sure what follows is hyperbolic
I initially presumed the Texas suit would be nonsense. Then I read it & it actually makes a compelling case. The Constitution specifies state legislatures govern the process of picking electors — yet in these states, courts or state officials usurped this power
MSNBC/CNN spending this morning attacking the Texas suit as “frivolous”; I’ve yet to hear anyone actually explain the argument; they just mock it, as if that’s helpful to their viewers.
