1] As @DMwonzora supporters celebrate his controversial win, it's safe to say that the MDC-T has effectively split.

The faulty lines were there from the onset.

Having a Acting Pres, Chair, Vice Chair, Organizing Sec & SG all vying for one post was recipe for disaster. Image
2] In fact, at one point, the Deputy Organizing Sec, Gift Chimanikire also wanted to run for the post

There is some audio clip of the Acting Spokesman, Phugeni seeing himself "..one day leading this great movement.."

All things being equal, 7 senior leaders wanted to be Pres
3] Whereas having 7 leaders gunning for one position can easily be seen as democracy at play, it also means something else.

One targets an electable position because of ambition & their lack of belief in the abilities of other contestants.

If that is true, then it's scary Image
4] Put differently, everyone else except for Dr Khupe who maybe "wanted to continue with her program", wanted to lead because they believed not, in the abilities of others

That wouldn't be much of a big issue if the other 6 were not senior leaders, all in the Standing Committee
5] Here's @DMwonzora's headache

Besides the dispute & controversies, Dougie has legal & political headaches

Has he been elected to finish off Tsvangirai's term until a substantial Ordinary Congress is run, where other positions will be filled?

If so, when's MT's term ending?
6] Also, the hope was that after the EOC, everyone would revert back to their previous positions

What's clear however is that "president" Mwonzora doesn't have a VP, SG, Chair (Komichi), Vice Chair (Mudzuri), Treasurer (Chief), Organizing Secretary (Bhebhe), Spokesman (Phugeni) Image
7] All previous SC officers (save for Deputy SG Amai Mupariwa, & Deputy OS, Chimanikire, Youth Leader Mukoyi) have rubbished his election.

Between now & the substantive Congress, what does the new president do?

Will the disputed president appoint a whole new Standing Committee? Image
8] Athough making all new SC appointments is easy (yet laughed), will it resolve the political impasse.

Will MaKhupe, Komichi, Mudzuri, Bhebhe, Ndlovhu, Phugeni & others go down without a fight?

Can "president" Mwonzora somehow pull a miracle and heal the rift? Image
9] DM, since the Supreme Court ruling, showed a hunger for concentration of power..

Who will he trust with the controversial SG post, which has split the MDC for the 3rd time?

Do we clearly have 3 MDC-Ts now?

Yes 3!

Seems like many have forgotten about Nyikadzino & his MDC-T?
10] Anything can happen in politics

Yet one cant help but wonder:

Which faction will the State acknowledge?

Who now owns MRT house, his legacy & the elected officials?

Will @nelsonchamisa & his ALLIANCE breath easy now?

Time, being the great prophet, will reveal all

enkosi! Image

1] Politics is fun.

The tables in MDC politics are turning so fast, its difficult to keep up.

Prof Madhuku, Dr Khupe's long time lawyer, absolutely unconcerned by the irony of being legal adviser to Presidents of other Opposition parties has seemingly ditched his long time ally
2] Witness Dube, Dr Khupe's aide & Spokesperson for 10 long years also ditched her & now is Spokesperson of the Dougie led MDC-T.

Sen Phugeni,Dr Khupe's current Spokesperson has seemingly ditched her camp & accepted Dougie's election & perhaps his appointment as Witness' deputy
3] Others such as Giles Mutsekwa, the famous "shumba yaMnangagwa" Blessed Chebundo (who just recently lost a ticket to represent the @mdczimbabwe in Kwekwe Central) & current Gweru legislator Brian Dube have seemingly "ditched" Chamisa and are in the Mwonzora MDC-T camp.

1] This is quite sad

In the context of how @mdczimbabwe was decimated through this junta project, all in the name of #democracy, #constitutionalism & #protecting the legacy of MT, who simply should be allowed to rest peacefully for he has no more role in the land of the living
2] If the end has ever justified the means, then the "illegality" of appointing @nelsonchamisa as VP & heir apparent, (with Mudzuri as some buffer) was a necessary evil.

With all his well documented misgivings, Nero leads the only significant, authentic & united MDC faction.
3] I bullishly put my head on the chopping board through the prediction attached below

Argued:
a) the MDC-T EOC wasn't likely to be held this year
b) it would be chaotic in the event that it was

Even sarcastically threatened to post my nudes (@M_Jay94)

1] @DMwonzora is a first class hypocrite

The world can't stand still so that his ambitions are realized.

He played dirty politics himself, conniving with @MKomichi to destroy @nelsonchamisa

He only accepts responsibilities when it comes to the votes Nero got, nothing else.
2] He entertains his minions through claims that Nero was in some business venture with Mugabe, together with @hwendec

Not that it would actually matter, but he has never done anything to prove the political smearing

Now that he is a "victim", the world should give him a hug?
3] If his earlier comments are anything to go by, he used the monies stolen from @mdczimbabwe by the State without the consent of his fellow criminals

He himself initially defended the allegations by claiming some lawyer had to be paid as assistance towards some bereavement

1] Apparently the judicially constructed MDC-T won the Marondera Council Mayor vote.

If you're thinking Khupe just got one over Chamisa, it's the exact opposite

This is another win which should embarrass any normal politician.

This should be a bitter-sweet moment for the MDC-T
2] As of the 2018 results, the MDC-ALLIANCE got 11 votes & ZanuPF got 1.

The MDC-T then recalled 5 MDC-ALLIANCE Councillors and still got 3, from the remaining 6.

Put differently, the MDC-T actually had 3 councillors, MDC-ALLIANCE 8 & ZanuPF 1

Knowing this, they recalled the 5
3] You can't run alone & still claim to be a winner.

The MDC-T removed all threats & still needed support from the ZanuPF councilor

This reminded me of the 2008 run-off where Mugabe ran against himself.

Even his closest allies in their Dictators' Club couldn't stand with him.

1] It's hilariously sad, how @DMwonzora & crew, do not realize that they are winning battles they would rather loose.

With every hit targeted at @nelsonchamisa, endorsed & celebrated by #ZanuPF, the #MDC-T is promoting the narrative that they are a ZanuPF front.
2] How does Dr TK, who publicly fought MT because of the MDC-A coalition, suddenly become Acting Pres of the MDC-T & defacto Pres of some MDC-A coalition?

How does she become leader of a anti-ZanuPF coalition yet be the godmother of a Zanu aligned opposition coalition, #POLAD?
3] That @nelsonchamisa is publicly recognized as the Leader of the Opposition @mdczimbabwe party is a local, regional & international reality that cannot be wished away.

Any pretence & actions to the contrary, only serve to expose the self-styled Constitutionalists.

1] What just happened to President @ngadziore at the hands of the State, is indicative of a scared & paranoid regime.

Unpopular regimes, (with a contested electoral mandate) survive on fear & intimidation.

Once the governed become less fearful, these regimes become desperate. Image
2] Someone was convinced that Zimbos were so tired of RG they would be okay even with a stone being President.

Alas, the citizens are demanding more.

This is what happens when you want power for the sake of it.

The burden of responsibility & performance is proving too much. Image
3] The Harare regime has been left exposed with activism coming from virtually everywhere

The old propaganda narratives of MDC nuisance is becoming unsustainable

Writers, clergy, students, intellectuals, & many outside politics & MDC affairs are speaking out

Zanu is overwhelmed Image
