Dr. Todd Leonard was the lead doctor in Sherrell's case.

Leonard runs correctional healthcare provider MEnD Correctional Care. MEnD is contracted by dozens of counties in MN to provide medical care inside jails.

Minneapolis Police killed a man this evening by fatally shooting him while he was in a car in the Holiday gas station parking lot at 36th Street and Cedar Avenue.
In a somewhat contentious press conference near the scene, Minneapolis Police PIO, Jon Elder said

"At 6:15 p.m. Wednesday evening. Officers from the Minneapolis Police Department were engaged in traffic stop with a felony suspect. During this stop, gunfire was exchanged...

On this day two years ago, December 6, 2018, we reported from Athens, Greece as heavy clashes occurred between thousands of police and black-clad protesters took place on the 10-year anniversary of 15-year-old Alexis Grigoropoulos being killed by Greek police in #Exarcheia.
The 2008 police killing of Alexis Grigoropoulos sparked a massive insurrectionary revolt in #Athens with weeks of riots that were the largest in Europe since 1968.

On Nov 30, St. Paul police responding to a car crash on Rice & Maryland pursued the passenger of the vehicle, Joseph Washington, who was reported as having been naked & under the influence of drugs.

A responding officer used his firearm to shoot Washington, who is a Black man.
The officer that shot Washington has reportedly been fired by St. Paul Police Chief Todd Axtell for utilizing his firearm instead of other, less-lethal methods used by the other officers.

Officers let a K-9 onto the naked Washington, tasered him, and shot him with live rounds.
