We Brits are a glorious mongrel race. Our roots lie deep within mainland Europe. Saxons, Vikings, Romans, Normans, Hugenots and in more modern times those who escaped Nazi & Soviet oppression. But too many are trapped in the notion we alone won WW2 ...
..forgetting our brave USA, Canadian, Polish & all our many other allies who sacrificed so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.
