BOM issues severe thunderstorm warning for DAMAGING WINDS, HEAVY RAINFALL and LARGE HAILSTONES

For people in Central Tablelands, Central West Slopes and Plains and parts of Hunter, Metropolitan, #Illawarra, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Lower Western and Upper Western

.. and at 4:24pm - hitting #Bowral now and BOM says expected in #Wollongong by 4:50

BOM reports:

- 50mm in 30min to about 15:15 AEDT at Nobbys Hill on the South Coast.

- 24.4mm in 15min to about 15:45 AEDT at Picton Lakesland Road

From NSW Health #covid media update: NSW Health has recorded zero locally-acquired coronavirus cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
Two new cases were recorded outside of the reporting period and will be included in tomorrow's numbers.

Emergency crews at the scene of a bus crash at Cordeaux Heights

Three people have been injured including the driver of a bus were injured

Paramedics believe the driver suffered a seizure hitting a car on Staff Road Cordeaux Heights and pulled over the bus.

Two off duty nurses attempted to help, but while rendering assistance re engaged the engine causing the bus to role backwards into a house. One of the nurses suffered a head injury and was treated at the scene, the driver has been taken to hospital.
