It's a form of erasure.
Let me complete this thought for those that don't quite understand.
This run-off system was designed to disenfranchise Black voters. One of many this country participates in. We are the target. Barriers and obstacles that have been a consistent American staple for us.

to leave out our ability to overcome them like this is something everyone has to deal with is completely disingenuous. It is those on the ground and Black voters that made the impossible happen. The thing is they will now be targeted with new tactics.
This win will mean more attempts. Resentment. Threats. This country has never taken our triumphs in stride.
Others will walk away as if everything is fine removing their gaze on what these attempts will be & working to stop it. Instead, it will still be us in the line of fire.
