As we'll contemplate, it is very possible that this message is layered. It may have more than just its surface level meaning. We'll look at the possibilities below.
2) @KateScopelliti is a little upset with me. After I watched the video message, I conveyed to her that I thought this to be a concession speech. I shouldn't have said that, and I'm sorry. Here's why. Kate didn't watch it for about 10 or 12 hours. She just couldn't bear to.
3) But when she finally did watch it, she told me, emphatically, "That is NO concession speech!"
I apologized and told her that that was what everyone was saying to me at Twitter. Everybody disagreed with me when I posted my reaction.
"They were right," she said.
4) I have to share something about Kate's character. She takes zero joy in telling me when I'm wrong. She does so without hesitation and does not second guess herself. You'll never meet a stronger woman, period. But she corrects me due to her beliefs, not out of opposition.
5) It took me many years to learn that. Like most modern men, and especially in the beautiful face of my irritated gal, my ego turns naturally weak. I have always found her flashing eyes and aggressive tones to be, well, she's a very attractive woman. Especially when angered.
6) Here's what she told me. There's something more going on. She mandated that I watch the video again, paying special attention to Trump's head movements. Maybe even turning down the sound so as to just observe the motions and expressions. And by gosh, she's right.
7) There is definitely more to the video than the surface message. And that's what we must discuss now. I do believe that in form and surface level message, it was designed to be taken as I did, as a concession speech. I'll speculate as to a possible why, shortly.
8) I suspect, though, that Trump's genius of messaging is on full display in this video. The "tricky" moment is at just before 1:30. He states a fact. Congress has certified the election results. Next fact...
9) A new administration will be inaugurated on January 20. The term "new administration," following the fact that congress has certified is without doubt intended to convey - WITHOUT SAYING SO - that the new administration will be Biden's. That this is implied cannot be doubted.
10) Following instantly next, his focus is now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly, and seamless transition of power. And there's the cellar door, leading down to a message layer beneath the surface.
It's the word "seamless."
11) Many pointed out to me that no transition of power could be more seamless than his own administration's from his 1st term to his 2nd. There is for me, under all of yours and especially Kate's guidance that I can deny that at least this 2nd layer beneath exists in the message.
12) A 3rd layer has been posited extensively also. Animating Trump's every motivation is the RETURN of power FROM The Swamp BACK to the people. The ONLY way that might occur is in his absolutely mandatory 2nd term in office. One term could not achieve that. There's more.
13) I have to jump into time machine back to 2016. If you check today's trends you'll see that #LyingTed is running. Well, back in 2016, after Trump defeated all other Republican contenders I stated this to Kate. I'm all in, unless he choses Ted as his running mate.
14) I found Ted, during the primaries, nothing but despicable. I will never forget, and never forgive what Ted did to Ben Carson in Iowa. Drats, I have to linger a bit more back in 2016. Oh well. I detested what Trump did when attacking Ted's wife. Bad form. Seriously.
15) Along with, not so much the Access Hollywood tape, but far more the Howard Stern tapes, and even more what Trump himself is on the record in print over, relative to his sexual prowess, that set of issues almost made me reject Trump. It was a close call.
16) Seriously, the very worst thing for me, as a gigantic Trump supporter, was having that conversation with my voting aged granddaughters. The way Trump and Stern spoke about Ivanka made me want to puke. And there I was, having to defend him to my granddaughters.
17) I got through all that in this way. Remembering Jumping Jack Flash Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, et al; and Bumping Bill Clinton and his string of sexual exploits, I had to explain that men in power are not made more moral by that ascension. Powerful men behave that way.
18) There's even Chappaquiddick Ted, the Lion of the Senate. Who remembers Gary Hart? The list goes on and on. To support Trump - and any later in life reformations might easily be explained on the basis of political aspirations, I had to refocus myself. Here's where and how...
19) Three things:
1) Ego - the need and passion to win 2) Skill - a lifetime of capabilities honed beyond measure 3) Policy(ies) - all summed up by the term America First
After reading his 4 political books, I determined that Trump was the most well prepared candidate ever.
20) That extraordinary preparation included his larger than life skyscraper developer in the most competitive location on earth. You don't just build a skyscraper with its materials and construction. A skyscraper is also built out of political maneuver, and press positioning.
21) You don't just build a building on its land footprint, or even air rights - something Trump invented. You build it out of political will, fought for at Town Hall and in the hostile press. That is political preparation. But more also...
22) There are TV ratings and public persona to account for. The Don built one of the greatest reality TV franchises in history in The Apprentice. What is the presidency if NOT reality TV, for real though. Trump's power of persona was one of his greatest assets in real politics.
23) I wasn't able, of course, to cover all of that with my granddaughters, their vehement opposition was both too great, and too shallow to swallow all that information. But I was able to convey two things to sum all that up.
24) Trump was a man capable of changing up the old guard and replacing it with the new guard, and doing so on the basis of what is best for America. That is a professional and NOT a personal, or even personality thing. He had the ability to fight America's fight.
25) And second, I was not hiring him to be my personal role model. I was hiring him to fight to save America. I believed he had the strength and ability to do so as no other candidate of my lifetime.
26) My granddaughters never accepted my arguments, as I never expected them to. What the did do was give me a pass on it, for two reasons also. The first was that I acknowledged the problem and truly understood and shared their repulsion over Trump's past behaviors.
27) Accepting that I respected their emotions and judgments, and the very values that we inculcate in our family, they understood that I did NOT stand for such behavior and judged and rejected that kind of behavior. They were, you see, looking out for the Grandmother, of course.
28) Giving me that pass, they followed my case for America, and agreed with me at the policy level, America First. They understood that I separated the man from the candidate and future POTUS. So that's how I got that pass, too.
29) And that brings me back to both 2016's #LyingTed - why I rejected him so vehemently; and to today's return to that role for him. Here are his own words, unedited:
30) I rejected Ted, as I said, over the Carson Iowa cheat. And I rejected Ted for all the things he said about Trump. Thus, if Trump had selected Ted as his running mate, I'd have judged Trump as just another politician dressed up in a businessman's skin. I'd have called foul.
31) {Note: remember Twitter often breaks threads after 30 or 31. This thread continues...}
So why the long way back machine work? For this reason, today. It took this to bring the true reality of #LyingTed back out into the open again.
32) This? It took Ted believing Trump has lost in order for his true lying self nature to once again be revealed. Imagine that. There's only one way to out a fair weather lying cheater. And that is to let the cold winds blow, to let the storm arrive. The rats jump ship instantly.
33) Getting the fair weather friends who require the belief in a defeated Trump to trigger the surfacing of the inner rat nature is, without doubt, another layer beneath the surface of Trump's video, the layer I'm naming 3rd. In a parking garage, it would basement level 2.
34) Let's review:
1) Ground floor = appearance of concession i.e. Congress has certified
2) Basement Level One = the equally plausible implication of seamless transition from 1st term to 2nd
3) Basement Level Two = projecting image of defeat in order to OUT traitors
35) Also frequently noted by others since Trump released this video is the fact of his Sun Tzu mastery. In the case of my posited 3 levels of possible meaning, I agree, and do so like this.
ANY ONE EACH, ANY TWO OF THEM, OR ALL THREE MAY BE REALIZED IN FACT
33) I witness a 4th level - Basement Level 3 - in his closing comments beginning a beat past 2:25.
To all my wonderful supporters, I know you're disappointed, but I want you to know that our incredible journey is only just beginning.
Wow!!!!!!!!!
34) I haven't asked her yet - I will later - but I suspect these seconds from 2:25 - 2:41 are the animaged head motions @KateScopelliti noted. It may actually be this image at 2:31 she's most of all referring to. It follows the word "disappointed" and comes during the word "but."
35) That head motion and the words, quoted above during 2:25 up until 2:41, can also mean two different things.
1) Our journey has only begun due to the requirement we fight the Biden administration's every evil act
Or,
2) 1st term was just the beginning, leading to 2nd term
36) Trump is a very right handed man. When most heated over his promises, he almost always turns to his right. This head motion is almost a jerk to the right. Look again and see. For an instant, he's almost in profile. Not quite, but almost.
37) @KateScopelliti's brilliant eye captured a critical body language tell. I'm certain Trump would never do that in a poker game when he got the card he was waiting for. I'm also sure that if Trump was playing poker, he'd never allow himself that motion.
Therefore...
38) Kate's reading cannot be questioned. This is NOT the visage of a defeated man. It is not the message of one who wants his followers to stand down. What's his line? I will never give up, back down, or surrender...something like that, right?
39) Here's our scenario, then. Let's go full tilt all in.
1) Trump tempts everyone to think he's given up 2) But the true transition is to his 2nd term 3) He has revealed the GOP field for what it is 4) He has signaled to all MAGAites that we're still in this fight.
40) I don't know if it's a 5th layer or not, but many have interpreted "transition of power" - as mentioned above - to be the very purpose of his 2nd term. Power to the people. The true and real consent of the governed. A true democracy inside a healed republic.
41) Even this works as a goal during the coming dark days, should they occur, of a Biden administration. It could be that this is Trump's mission statement for the 4 years between now and his 2nd term, Grover Cleveland like. But Kate's body language analysis counters that.
42) And here's a 6th possible layer of messaging. To us, the MAGA Movement, we MUST stand far taller in his 2nd term than we did during his 1st. He is waking us up from groggy, turning the alarm clock into slumber mode, to alert, battle ready, keen eyed combat mode.
43) We did NOT march on those battle ground state capitols when they instituted or allowed corrupt voting procedure. We did NOT march on Washington during the impeachment as we did on the 6th. We did NOT self-organize to defeat voter fraud in 2018 and hold the House.
44) If you're MAGA and live in Utah, you failed to defeat Mitt Romney in the 2018 primary.
"Mitt Romney defeated Jenny Wilson, Timothy Noel Aalders, Craig Bowden, and Reed McCandless in the general election for U.S. Senate Utah on November 6, 2018."
46) By #HellNoMikeLee I mean this. Hell no, Mike Lee, you will NEVER be a Senator again. That's what I mean about Trump's sixth layer of messaging. How could we stick him with such Senators has his purported friends? With friends like that, you have NO need of enemies.
47) This is NOT Trump's direct message, it's me responding to the six levels I've just posited. Democrats are not the problem and never have been. Republicans are the problem. We are supposed to guard the sheep of Constitutionalism in America. We are not. We send in wolves.
48) I read Mike Lee's book. This was long before Election 2020. I hated it through and through. I deemed him a liar, most especially in the title and purported mission of this book.
49) With friends like Mike Lee, the Constitution has no need of enemies.
50) Why did we do that? Why is Mighty Mitch, corrupt as hell, not only the Senator from Kentucky, but also the Senate Majority Leader? And what about our man Rand Paul? Again, it's almost impossible to dislike him, as with so many of these con artists.
51) Where was Rand when we needed him to actually live up to the very Constitution he is always sounding off about?
Reading between the layers of messages, I hear this. Election 2020 was and is a 100% unconstitutional act. It breaks the Constitution.
52) We must turn to speculating over Trump's motives. I propose that he does NOT have the power to forstall all the acts of traitorous Republicans, both on Capital Hill and at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I further propose that Pence has been, all along, leader of the resistance.
53) We have both Chris Miller and Robert O'Brian coming out FOR Pence. O'Brian tell us he spoke with Pence and he's a fine man, the right man for the job of leading the Senate through its certification process. Who is O'Brian?
54) First, I read O'Brien's book as soon as he was appointed to replace McMaster as National Security Adviser. It's not a bad book, but it's praise for Mitt Romney stank in my nostrils. But I understood and forgave that.
"Later, in May 2015, he became an adviser on foreign policy and national security affairs for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker's presidential campaign. After Walker left the race, O'Brien advised Ted Cruz's campaign...
57) "...During the time he advised Ted Cruz's presidential campaign, he claimed: "It's clear that Vladimir Putin just doesn't like [Hillary Clinton], and is going to do what he can to help Donald Trump."
Yet that silliness is hard to judge when dealing with such a talented man.
59) And that's precisely how I forgive us. Our Republican wolves have always worn sheepskin tuxedos of true Constitutional Conservatism. It is such men as O'Brien who embrace Pence in the moment of Pences' #PenceIsJudas moment.
60) The list goes on. And on. And on. Ad nauseum. Ad infinitum. Swamp creatures to a soul. What does all this mean?
It's Trump's 5 alarm bells fire. America must have a new breed of conservative. Period.
61) Perhaps we must find America First Magatives. If there is a Biden administration, that will be mission number 1. We must find and emplace Magative representatives on every level of government from Dog Catcher up.
62) What about the power I propose Trump has never had? If Arizona hadn't continuously sent John McCain as a fake Republican to the Senate, Trump would have repealed AND replaced Obamacare. And if Senators like Lindsey Graham weren't there there'd have been no Steele dossier.
63) Check it out of you don't remember. Not only were Graham and McCain truly BFFs, they were both in on the delivery of the Steele Dossier to DOJ.
How bad are we Republicans? McCain and Romney were our standard bearers. 2008 and 2012.
54) Here's our last segment of Trump's video for analysis. Listen to his message from 0:55 - 1:25. Note the head tilt to to the right again, at the phrase "fighting to defend American Democracy."
55) Head turn right and lean forward at "to contest the election results." His goal was (is) to restore faith and confidence in all future elections.
In or out of office, there can be zero question or doubt about Trump's immediate mission now. Nor about his guidance to us.
56) I've said it before and will say it again now. I take all failures personally. Either I didn't have the ability I should have, didn't fight hard enough with the ability I did have, or failed to identify the right mission, or worse, analyzed resulting failures incorrectly.
57) I completely failed in my 2018 Midterms analysis. And many of you tried to steer me right, and I brushed you all off. I refused to focus on voter fraud in 2018, and wrongly analyzed our failure as a movement. I do apologize to all who tried to break through my thick skull.
58) Now, there can be zero doubt that Trump has charged us with fixing the issue of voter fraud. I'm not saying he's placing the burden on us, as if it wasn't his problem to handle. Quite the contrary. He is simply telling us what he's going to fight for, and inviting us along.
59) When you consider #JudasPence as the leader of the White House and Capitol Hill Resistance and Traitor In Chief, there can be no question that Trump has been hemmed in and encircled by traitors from day one of his 1st term. He has now exposed them all.
60) Do you realize that @GenFlynn along with the vile Chris Christie were the other two candidates for the VP slot, before #JudasPence was selected? Had Christie been chosen, the same betrayal as Pence's would have ensued to be sure. But imagine VP Flynn. Imagine that.
61) Still working off our scenario above, what action do we take now? 100% full support for @realDonaldTrump should be obvious. Underlying that, and more challenging, is the mandate to grant him what he is NOT in control of. He did not control Pence as President of the Senate.
62) That we must grant Trump his limitations is one of the hardest parts of full support. It is mandatory though. I can attest that I have never wavered, even all the way back to 2016 and from then till now. I see him as a man before I see him as President. He has limits.
63) The support I give ALWAYS included my recognition of human frailties and limits on each and every person's span of control. Trump could not have prevented Chris Miller from his statements of undying support for Pence. That was not within Trump's reach.
Do not let go. They're trying to steal our voices, our voice. We will not let them.
65) I don't know. There may be a Biden administration. No matter if so. Our job will be the same as in the Trump 2nd term should we win that now. We must step up to the world stage together with our leader, and say it with me, and...
Make America Great Again.
Thread ends at #65.
I see, however, that Twitter is going to great lengths in breaking this thread. After a break, I'll come back and work on that.

They've stolen our election. They're shutting us down in social media. They're attempting to remove our POTUS for a very simple reason. His victory must be erased with prejudice. This is well put below.
2) Yet somehow, for all that, I am not afraid. As I just said to my friend @smergi_rompe, I probably should be, but I'm not. Let's talk about that. In the real world, I have faced men with guns. I had no weapon. I just negotiated. I am still here, and no shots were fired.
3) I've seen numbers for our election ranging from 70 - 80 million Trump votes. I have no way of knowing, as the enter election was purloined. Yet, I do know that Trump won in a landslide, easily, and here's how. He won all the battleground states and bellwether counties.
Yes, it is a very dangerous, horrifying thing. Yes, it is completely predictable considering the power grab we're witnessing as a fraudulent president is installed. The suppression of the voice of the People's President is completely inside their game plan. /2
But I am not afraid. At all. Big tech has always been our enemy. There's nothing new here. Perhaps bids like Gab or Parler are part of the answer. Perhaps new answers will arise. But I have tremendous confidence that answers will arise and I have an example to happily share. /3
8:00 - or so - update. My use of the term Judas for Pence has been picked up by a Twitter trend. I don't think I was the first, but I'm getting responses from the other side as I have never gotten them before. It's rather amazing to me, honestly. /1
2) It also gives me a new perspective. I've never had them as my audience before but I imagine I must contemplate how to speak to them too. It is an interesting challenge. One thing I will not do is alter my beliefs or values due to their excoriation. /2
3) Another thing I'll do is note how profoundly the Judas image speaks to them. Once they get passed this moment in time, I suspect they'll come to understand that for us, on our side, Pence being Judas is an inescapable fact. He took 30 silver pieces yesterday without doubt. /3
After a few hours of fitful sleep, the reality of the nightmare we're living shot me up from bed. I have no special knowledge, no guidance from above to share. Only analysis.
2) The greatest intellectual challenge we face is the enormity of the big lie. When even Mike Pence turns full Judas, and the Republican Majority Leader in the Senate rushes to as fast a certification of a false president as possible, you can feel how the fix is in. 100% Rigged.
3) Anyone who has followed the work of the great @SidneyPowell1 on behalf of @GenFlynn can find no surprise in how corrupt our judiciary is. We are witnessing a whole-of-government denial of our power as voters. In DC today, our voice is silenced. They don't need us, they think.
I read this with great sadness, knowing in advance I would find nothing but dishonesty and calumny disguised as sacred honor and sanctimonious self-righteousness. Some small part of me hoped, still, to be wrong, but that part of me is called projection and denial. /1
I do not have many comments to make. But there is a point of logic I am compelled to express. The entire letter is built around a single term which is, in its very usage, a lie. That term is unilateral. /2
When a judge slams his gavel down handing out a sentence that he decided, no one accuses him of having made a unilateral decision. A long process led there. The laws were not of his own creation. He performs his function, holding sole responsibility for its proper execution. /3
We'll discuss Neon Revolt's 3 articles below. If you haven't, you should read them now. Before we turn to them, I'll offer my own thoughts about this terrible day.
2) Neon Revolt has forced a new perception. He has forced me to walk around a beloved topic of mine, of ours, and has forced me to look at it from its hellacious dark side. It's shadow. The topic is our reawakening as a nation of patriots. The slumbering giant slumbers no more.
3) From 2016 until this day, every time I've seen that thought cross my mind's view screen, I have smiled. And I have believed in us, in U.S. This is the sunny side of the street. A new day in America. And I have been grateful, so grateful to our great leader. And not shy either.
