0616, Liban did not journal for a while because he put his phone away to get work done. He came up with new model of journaling: plan, implement plans and then report back. He will wake up, exercise, do 20 minutes cleaning and organizing, eat breakfast and be ready for work
Liban did exercise, doing seven minutes of scientific workout; he also did 20 minutes light cleaning and organizing; he also ate breakfast and is ready to work. He took extra 40 minutes to achieve those tasks, some of them he spent browsing the net.
Liban created a box where he will put $5 dollars every time he fails to implement his plans, in the absence of reasonable justification. Liban saw research opposing cleaning in the morning due to potential allergy and asthma attacks. Cleaning, recommended, is better at 4pm.
Exercise was difficult when Liban was doing it; he felt better afterwards: feeling energized and effective human being.
Three things you need early in the morning to lead productive day: 8 hours of sleep, exercise and breakfast consisting of fiber and proteins, such as 100% oats and protein bar. This may give you the power to get plenty of work done.
Liban did take care some outstanding business. He was distracted few times by curiosity, backward analysis: I wish to know what is going on now on this. He decided to use this to his advantage: do research and get work done. He will finish long standing work in the next 52 min.
He was expected to report finishing long standing business at 1030, after taking break; assuming he took a break first before work, that still leaves 15 minutes un-accounted for. He paid $5 fine.
Liban was working on routine tasks. Less distraction was reported during this time.
Even after taking breaks, Liban indulged in distractions. He did not find a way to protect himself from distractions of the phone and if he did he did not use it.
555, Liban returned from 2 hours spending with friends; he faced a choice to tell the truth to a friend who wanted to start business with him; he did not, instead he made an appointment with him to discuss such business. He will tell the truth and report back: I am not interested
Liban returned from a break; he knew what he should have done: follow his own schedule, he did not. He will pay now another $5 dollars.
Liban did not sustain brainstorming and free association; he was distracted again and again; he paid the fine. So far he paid a total of $20.
“I have not yet developed the habit of a daily journalling, editing and putting that edited file in a folder for accumulation ” Liban wrote “I consider this one of the fundamental failures of my life and I have not yet mastered skills needed in order to resolve it” he wrote
“One simple solution for this particular problem is to practice journalling, editing and putting the edited file in a folder on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays and work hard to make the same thing in other days, but if I fail that is okay for this week” Libin wrote

0509, Liban slept around 10pm last night and woke up around 0400. He felt too tired to wake up and start his day even though he was not feeling sleepy. It appears to him that was aversive stimuli presented to stop him from starting his day; with tiredness, let him do his work.
Liban was not using known processes of work, such as sitting mind- mapping, oral mind-mapping, oral mind-mapping while walking or standing ; he was not using his strengths to overcome deficits, such as disposition to distraction. He may even use his distraction: mind-map a lot.
0527, Another principle that prevents him from doing his work is doing easy things, such as browsing the net or watching comedy show. He will do a lot of easy things; the strategy of doing easy things is strategy used by habits which still a lot of liban’s time.
0328, Liban is currently presenting anxieties about his ineffectiveness: failure to combine spontaneity and plans to lead more worthy and reasonable life. How can he teach others if he cannot develop and maintain good habits, such as exercise, sleep, work schedule and so on.
0402, Liban will decide an outcome for the hour and use that to judge the use of the hour. He plans to edit journal notes done yesterday and also edit some old notes to catch up with editing.
0501, Liban edited yesterday’s notes and even some old notes. A lot of work remains to be done. So, he will take a break and work on editing again old notes.
Liban used the last hour editing old work. He plans to develop the habit of daily journaling, daily editing and storing to build materials that will need two more editing before it becomes a book. He plans to do this for political analysis, self-development and business. 0507.
Libin missed focusing resulting from dignified sitting posture, breathing, focusing on a particular point and focusing resulting from movement while talking about a particular topic. He wants to produce materials while he is in these two conditions. 1

Libin used the last hour to edit and add some evaluations to journaled notes. Liban is very proud of doing that. However, he went back to his old habits of distraction by just browsing for the sake of browsing: this became a habit that is self stimulating and self-sustaining. 620
0922, Liban has not been planning and implementing his plans nor was he acting on the basis of his intuitive insights: doing what he knew needs to be done. As a consequence, he was not making substantive progress in many areas of his life.
Liban will carry $5 and give it to a deserving person right away if he fails to report every hour. Main project for him today is work related, business development, Horn of Africa, self- development, cleaning, and buying groceries.
Liban bought coffee and met an immigration expert to discuss about his observation in Kenya. It was not necessary but he felt urge to do so to benefit others. He could have used the time to do other things that were important to him; he also, browsed their net for sometime. 1058.
Libin slept at 2 AM last night; he woke up around 8 AM this morning; he ate breakfast and prepared himself and his son; he then went back to sleep for a couple of hours; he will work on having a sleep schedule and exercise ; he will work on politics, psychology and Business.
Libin is currently sitting in a coffee shop having difficulties accessing Internet;
he cannot do much in the absence of the Internet; he did buy Airtel Internet but it’s very slow. He does not recommend it. Hey paid $50 for Airtel in addition to regular $120 phone bill in US.
He plans to send some money to Somalia and then work on some immigration paperwork; that is his plan; but he would like to get some work done on Horn of Africa and Business utilizing the two minute rule: start tasks and finish them in two minutes, and then start again.
