If you're into or getting into sea shanties, I suggest looking up The Jolly Rogers on Spotify. They have a mix of traditional shanties, bawdy songs, drinking songs, and modern Renfaire novelty songs.
I like their traditional songs better than most of their newer stuff, but that's nostalgia for you. I grew up seeing them as the Renaissance Fair of the Midlands in Council Bluff, then later trekked down to see them in Kansas City more years than most.
The one big exception to me not caring for their original songs is One For The Road, written to be the ultimate drinking song. Definitely worth hearing live, when they encourage the audience to sing the chorus.

They also have a trilogy of original songs called Horror Movie Hero, which are pretty good novelty songs and metacommentary.
It's mainly their efforts at expanding the catalogue of sailing and whaling songs that pale to the classics.
