We've seen, time and again, how online stalking and harassment leads to violence or murder. Threats to women’s online privacy and digital security prevent women’s access to information/help— as many who experience harassment are driven to self-censor, or they are driven offline.
Online harassment and violence such as revenge porn, cyber stalking, identity theft, doxxing and other forms of cyber harassment against women leads to obvious violations of women’s right of bodily integrity, freedom of expression, privacy and right to personal data protection.
“We can't continue having law enforcers utter things like Online abuse isn't real, that is virtual & can't cause any harm. For as long as girls & women are forced off the cyberspaces as a result of fear, we shall continue to miss out on important voices in society”- Maureen Agena
I also want to mention that police at times encourage you to delete your social media. *You* have to adjust *your* life but this deranged, entitled lunatic is allowed to continue living life as normal, harassing others too.

TO ALL WOMEN:

Have you experienced online harassment or online stalking? If you have, can you share your experience and what help was available to you? More importantly, has it stopped?
I’d be thankful if you could RT this.
For those uncertain of what it means; “Cyberstalking is the use of the Internet or other electronic means to stalk or harass an individual, group, or organization. It may include false accusations, defamation, slander and libel-

people, I’d love to know what your biggest lessons and regrets from your twenties are?
mine:
learn how to say no and don't do things that make you uncomfortable. set boundaries
mental health is important, nourish it.
the things I worry about won't matter in a year or even a month.
not all friendships/relationships are for life.
don't stay in unhappy relationships
I wish I wasn't as stubborn as I am and learned how to apologise more frequently.
Don't drink too much alcohol.
Success is subjective. You can never truly “arrive” at success, as no matter what there will always be something you can do to achieve more. Don't work too hard - ever

Dad, I’m about the same age as you when you left a war-torn Bosnia on a night filled with sirens and bombs with me, hidden in the back of a truck. You left mom and my two sisters behind. I was very ill. You both agreed that the chance of survival was greater if we all separated.
For two days until we reached the border you thought of only one thing: the survival of your family. When you reached the border with me on the third day, they pulled you out, tortured and humiliated you. They pointed a gun at us both. How can I ever truly understand what you-
have lived through? I will never know the hunger, desperation and horror that filled your twenties. I have grown up in a safe country eating the fruits of your suffering. I’m so proud to be your daughter. Everything I do in this life is for you. Happy (Swedish) Father’s Day, dad

I’m tired of seeing this recycled argument. Implying that poor people shouldn’t have children because they’ve been disadvantaged by a system that offers them no support is eugenics adjacent.
it rests on an assumption that poverty is intrinsic and it drives a refusal to provide material aid to children in poverty. You think you shouldn’t help pay for a child to eat because you think his mother should have known not to have him.
There's an enormous difference between neglecting a child and not having the income to feed your family.

Insightful yet occasionally farcical profile into the painful gender dynamics within the alt-right, and the most complete, damning portrait of how morally bankrupt Lauren Southern really is. theatlantic.com/politics/archi…
Some highlights include her white supremacist boyfriend refusing to eat ketchup. “He won’t eat any non-European sourced food - including ketchup”
She had an on and off fling with a Croatian neo-nazi but dismisses it as “being too picky”

“picky” is not the word I’d use
