I guess this was a callback to something Pelosi said this summer and Rs didn't move to impeach. They knew she wasn't inciting violence. Why do Ds think Trump was saying the same?
"Now, on our side, we didn't take those to be impeachable because we didn't believe she surely meant that. But by the Democrats taking this action, you're telling me, no, when we say those, we actually mean to incite violence. That's what this action is saying."

We’re still grappling with what the consequences for past behaviors should be in the era of #metoo. We will grapple with this for a long time. But whatever the answer, it’s going to need to start with admitting wrong doing and at least an apology.
We already have a man in the White House who has never taken responsibility for his behavior toward women. We deserve better.
