1] Having:

@HEBobiwine as Ugandian President
@nelsonchamisa as Zimbabwean President
@MmusiMaimane/ @Julius_S_Malema as SAn President would mean so much for the region & our African politics.

Our politics needs a disruptive departure from the old & tired nationalist rhetoric
2] Ofcourse, there is more to politics than "being young"...

Yet the point of departure is,nationalist movements have become an albatross to regional development, with what most of them traditionally represent, becoming alien to the aspirations & experiences of new generations.
3] The future can not be secure under people without lived experiences of what it means NOW, to be poor, African, black, etc.

The future can certainly not be planned by people who wont be there.

What's the inspiration for fighting for agenda 2063, by age faking 70+ year olds?
4] Even if those four dont become Presidents themselves, one hopes they have ignited a raging fire.

The POWER OF REPRESENTATION.

Young people have to look at Juju,Nero,Bobi,Mmusi & others, and feel they too have to atleast sit upright, if they can't stand for something.
5] Solutions will not come from the sources of the problems.

If you cant do it in 40 years, or even 5 years, then you cant do it period

The call for change, youthful change, should only but get louder

Each generation should self-represent.
The liberation movements have failed!
6] Whereas the ultimate decision should be left to citizens of sovereign states, solidarity remains key

The greatest lesson from the failing African leaders is solidarity.
They defend and stand up for each other.

We need a new solidarity for African re-liberalisation
7] One country at a time, dictators, nationalist failures & the Big Men of Africa should fall.

African doesn't feel like its progressing.

We need change, even if it means new errors.
With institutional reforms, those errors can be corrected.

enkosi!!

1] We will examine whether or not Simba Chikanza is mentally stable some other time, but did a whole Minister of Defence spend 7 minutes exposing ZanuPF internal issues/fights to someone she didnt know who it was?

How is Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri a whole Defence Minister? Image
2] The same Muchinguri-Kashiri previously claimed God was using covid to punish sanctions imposing Westerners...

now she says the covid virus is a product of a Chinese experiment that went horribly wrong!

Is it the same China which is supposedly our "all weather friend"? Image
3] Atleast, thank you for exposing an open secret.

Everyone knows that ZBC isn't a State broadcaster, but an extension of ZanuPF propaganda machinery.

We just didnt know it was now Madam Mutsvangwa's property which her faction is using to promote their agenda.

thank you mama! Image

1] Dr Tsvangirai "“I don't want to walk to State House over the dead bodies of fellow Zimbabweans"

He didnt.

Fast forward to 2020/21,some MDC supporters:

"We wish Tsvangirai was still around. Chamisa is weak & soft. Tsvangirai would have led an uprising".

Strange stuff. Image
2] Actually, by the time Dr MT died, calls for him to step aside had massively grown.

One of the reasons being that the MDC had become "soft" under his leadership, after falling to translate winning elections into getting State power.

Some called for new strategies & Leadership Image
3] Anyways, just wanted to share an opinion on a topic I had decided to sit out on.

The other strange comparison has been on Bobi Wine & Chamisa.

Many seemed oblivious to the fact that there is an election in Uganda, not in Zimbabwe.

Bobi was just campaigning.(impressively so) Image

1] The experiences of @HEBobiwine & many other Opposition parties in authoritarian regimes, especially those whose incumbents are a product of coups, makes one feel ashamed of being African

Africa needs new leaders to break this chain of oppression, capture, abuse & lawlessness
2] The Ugandan Dictator, General Museveni is unrelenting as he pushes for another term in office

@HEBobiwine's party has effectively been politically outlawed.
Many of his members/supporters and party Leaders have been arrested, tortured & murdered

#YoweriMuseveniMustFall
3] With the election only just a few hours away:

a. the international world has been shut out with the blocking of social media
b. Opposition members/leaders are being abducted & killed
c. International & local observers are being forced to pull out

1] I guess the only difference between @HeraldZimbabwe & @DailyNewsZim is that the latter is smaller.

Otherwise,same old BS!

As the @HeraldZimbabwe continues to attack @nelsonchamisa, @DailyNewsZim continues to desperately prop up @DMwonzora, setting the stage for "talks" Image
2] With everything currently happening in Zimbabwe,@DailyNewsZim still found it important to interview one Victor Matemadanda & make his propaganda the front page TOP NEWS!

The transformation of @DailyNewsZim into an extension of ZanuPf anti-Opposition machinery is breathtaking.
3] There is a clear logic to this madness.

Let's face it Zimbos, the "private media" is being conveniently used to prepare our psyche for some ED-Mwonzora pact.

The only question is on the nature of the pact

I wonder what Zanu plans to get from DM which they couldnt, from Dr TK

1] Hopefully, after this, I will be saying less and less stuff about @DMwonzora & the @MyMDC_T

In Africa, any serious politician has to be a charismatic orator.

Strategy & effective administration is actually anchored on that.

Sadly, Dougie ticks none of those boxes.
2] African politics is unique.

There are many brilliant politicians who failed to make a mark, simply because of their inability to command attention.

You need to be able to convince people to listen, if you have any chance at convincing them to believe in you & what you offer.
3] Of equal concern is the perceptions people have of a politician.

ZANUPF caused irreparable damage on Tsvangirai as a political brand, as State media "successfully" labelled him a stooge of Westen interests.

I've wondered if the MDC did enough, to shake this off early.

[1] All these whispers for "talks" between the warring MDC factions are a waste of valuable time.

At a personal level,I believe in multi-party democracy, meaning that we need as many Opposition parties as well.

Secondly,we are better off without chaotic elitist unification talks Image
[2] Its quite funny, that Senators Mudzuri & Komichi, as they were campaigning towards the MDC-T EOC, all claimed to posses requisite skills & maturity "to reunite MDC politicians/factions"

Mwonzora is now singing form the same hymn, promising to "personally talk with Chamisa" Image
[3] In fact, it was under the same "wisdom" that Senators Mudzuri & Komichi, dutifully accepted the positions offered to them by Sen Mwonzora.

they didnt want "the MDC-T to split again".

Funny enough, they masterminded the MDC-ALLIANCE split.

Question is, what has changed now? Image
