1] Dr Tsvangirai "“I don't want to walk to State House over the dead bodies of fellow Zimbabweans"
He didnt.
Fast forward to 2020/21,some MDC supporters:
"We wish Tsvangirai was still around. Chamisa is weak & soft. Tsvangirai would have led an uprising".
Strange stuff.
2] Actually, by the time Dr MT died, calls for him to step aside had massively grown.
One of the reasons being that the MDC had become "soft" under his leadership, after falling to translate winning elections into getting State power.
Some called for new strategies & Leadership
3] Anyways, just wanted to share an opinion on a topic I had decided to sit out on.
The other strange comparison has been on Bobi Wine & Chamisa.
Many seemed oblivious to the fact that there is an election in Uganda, not in Zimbabwe.
Bobi was just campaigning.(impressively so)
4] So strange were the comparisons that Chamisa was being roasted for not "learning from Bobi".
It was lost to many, that in 2018, the MDC had the most wide spread campaigning, since its formation.
NC actually travelled & addressed more rallies than any other politician ever has.
5] Now the Ugandan election has been rigged.
The margin is way higher been Bobi & M7, than it was between NC & ED.
Interestingly, it would seem like, as per some projects, Bobi's Parly reps are performing better than their Presidential candidate.
Unlike what happened in Zim.
6] Put into context, Bobi went into the polls with most of his Leadership & his own wife under siege
He strategically devised an online election result, polling station based tracking system & Yoweri switched off the internet.
He didnt/couldnt mount a political response.
7] Just wanted to expose how some comparisons were premature & baseless.
However, the only difference is what will be done now!
I once spoke about "winning an election that cannot be won".
Bobi is at this phase now, where his legacy might wither or permanently leave a mark.
8] It's public knowledge that elections can be won, even in dictatorships.
The only difference being on whether or not stakeholders will allow the winner to govern.
This is why Opposition parties have to be structurally strong to win AND protect their win.
9] That is why I am in absolute support of the @OneMillionZW
The MDC has to be structurally effective across the country, to politically respond to their programs, pre & post elections.
This is why the State keeps persecuting NC's closest allies.
It fears this self-organization
10] For me personally, the time to watch Uganda and Bobi, is now!
Everything else was somewhat certain & definite.
What happens now will define the direction the new African Leadership is taking, to rid the continent of Dictators.
Bobi has to conquer.
He has to!
enkosi!!

1] We will examine whether or not Simba Chikanza is mentally stable some other time, but did a whole Minister of Defence spend 7 minutes exposing ZanuPF internal issues/fights to someone she didnt know who it was?
How is Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri a whole Defence Minister?
2] The same Muchinguri-Kashiri previously claimed God was using covid to punish sanctions imposing Westerners...
now she says the covid virus is a product of a Chinese experiment that went horribly wrong!
Is it the same China which is supposedly our "all weather friend"?
3] Atleast, thank you for exposing an open secret.
Everyone knows that ZBC isn't a State broadcaster, but an extension of ZanuPF propaganda machinery.
We just didnt know it was now Madam Mutsvangwa's property which her faction is using to promote their agenda.
Our politics needs a disruptive departure from the old & tired nationalist rhetoric
2] Ofcourse, there is more to politics than "being young"...
Yet the point of departure is,nationalist movements have become an albatross to regional development, with what most of them traditionally represent, becoming alien to the aspirations & experiences of new generations.
3] The future can not be secure under people without lived experiences of what it means NOW, to be poor, African, black, etc.
The future can certainly not be planned by people who wont be there.
What's the inspiration for fighting for agenda 2063, by age faking 70+ year olds?
1] The experiences of @HEBobiwine & many other Opposition parties in authoritarian regimes, especially those whose incumbents are a product of coups, makes one feel ashamed of being African
Africa needs new leaders to break this chain of oppression, capture, abuse & lawlessness
2] The Ugandan Dictator, General Museveni is unrelenting as he pushes for another term in office
@HEBobiwine's party has effectively been politically outlawed.
Many of his members/supporters and party Leaders have been arrested, tortured & murdered
a. the international world has been shut out with the blocking of social media
b. Opposition members/leaders are being abducted & killed
c. International & local observers are being forced to pull out
2] With everything currently happening in Zimbabwe,@DailyNewsZim still found it important to interview one Victor Matemadanda & make his propaganda the front page TOP NEWS!
The transformation of @DailyNewsZim into an extension of ZanuPf anti-Opposition machinery is breathtaking.
3] There is a clear logic to this madness.
Let's face it Zimbos, the "private media" is being conveniently used to prepare our psyche for some ED-Mwonzora pact.
The only question is on the nature of the pact
I wonder what Zanu plans to get from DM which they couldnt, from Dr TK
[1] All these whispers for "talks" between the warring MDC factions are a waste of valuable time.
At a personal level,I believe in multi-party democracy, meaning that we need as many Opposition parties as well.
Secondly,we are better off without chaotic elitist unification talks
[2] Its quite funny, that Senators Mudzuri & Komichi, as they were campaigning towards the MDC-T EOC, all claimed to posses requisite skills & maturity "to reunite MDC politicians/factions"
Mwonzora is now singing form the same hymn, promising to "personally talk with Chamisa"
[3] In fact, it was under the same "wisdom" that Senators Mudzuri & Komichi, dutifully accepted the positions offered to them by Sen Mwonzora.
they didnt want "the MDC-T to split again".
Funny enough, they masterminded the MDC-ALLIANCE split.
