2/ The DOJ/DoD/FBI have total jurisdiction over the District of Columbia. 20,000 US troops directly under Trump's command are in control of the district.
3/ It makes no sense for President Elect Joe Biden and VP Elect Kamala Harris to enter the Federally controlled and occupied District until after they are sworn in and gain full authority over all federal agencies.
4/ It is easy to claim military leaders and officers will not follow illegal commands and assume it will be safe. However, Jan 6 tells us otherwise and how easy it is to create chaos when the Commander in Chief is an Insurrectionist organizing and supporting domestic terrorism.
5/ There is no excuse for Trump's cabinet & VP not to have utilized the 25th Amendment to remove Trump. Thus they can not be trusted and if MUST be assumed they support the insurrection.
6/ There is no excuse for Mitch McConnell, and every US Senator, not calling for an immediate session to expeditiously convict Trump on the article of impeachment.
7/ We can therefore NOT assume it is safe for President Elect Joe Biden & VPE Kamala Harris to enter the District until after they are sworn in and the Cabinet has been replaced.
8/ This caution should extend to the current line of succession and Speaker of the House Pelosi, who should remain outside the District except for critical business.
