So Abby pulled Bazelon's funky ass out, who wrote the most bullshit hit piece the entire cycle, to trash Kamala. This is why folks get a side eye until proven otherwise. The fact is truancy prosecutions went DOWN due to reforms advocated by #KamalaHarris

Wow this piece on Kamala's Presidential campaign is a real fcuking hack job. What a reductive, tabloid-esque characterization of a campaign without putting in context it went up against an onslaught of disinformation, misogynior, marginalization, and erasure.
Welp, I guess #KamalaHarrisMakingHistory is as good as it's going to get til the MSM critically re-evaluates the narratives they have run with for several yrs (hatched by #MVPHarris' opponents). Overall it was mostly fine, but it's my duty to leave no slight unanswered.

I resisted replying to the cesspool ignorance in Charlamagne's IG comments, but let me say: swatting down irrefutable/ quantifiable Black progress with "yeah but what did you do specifically for Black folx" is ridiculous & shows a lack of understanding of SCOTUS rulings/civics.
There are ways to tackle systemic racism & inequities...but when I hear the question "what have you done/will you do SPECIFICALLY for Black people" it is almost never in reference to tackling the Black maternal or infant mortality rate (not in the CWBA)...it's about quotas.
To believe not implementing racial quotas is a betrayal of Black people is to completely ignore decades of court rulings (incl SCOTUS) that have outlawed "inflexible quotas". Summary ⬇️. The key is evaluating the legally allowed targets/goals for efficacy.

Thread: I really need y'all political Johnny Come Lately Black saviors to understand: a lack of good ideas & will power are NOT why we haven't made more advancements in the Black community. Even ideas that once implemented are incredibly popular often took DECADES of advocacy.
Let's talk institutional power. Cube & others have taken to saying we have over 7,000 Black people elected and gotten nothing 🤔(false). Context matters there are 500000 elected officials in the US with Black electeds accounting for ~9K/2%. That power is not evenly distributed.
Let's look at the US Congress. Out of 12,526 individuals elected, only 162/1.3% are Black. The current session of Congress has the highest number of Black electeds with 57 out of 541. While Black officials make up 11.7% of VOTING members in the House they are 3% in the Senate.

Thread: Today I'll be debunking the Trump's Platinum Plan SCAM with receipts. It's asinine to believe a 2 pg PDF when Trump's 4 yr ⚪ Nationalist record proves hostility towards the Black community. Black unemployment has skyrocketed & 41% of small businesses have closed.
Trump's DOJ has been hostile towards the Black community and rolled back Obama/Biden Criminal Justice Reforms. Trump restarted the war on drugs, restored & increased federal private prisons, encouraged police brutality and more. Trump will not make us safer. #PlatinumPlan
Trump has not been a champion for HBCUs. In fact he has a fraught relationship with HBCUs including hostile statements questioning the constitutionality of their funding. The increased funding Trump touts was actually championed by VP nominee Sen. Kamala Harris. #PlatinumPlan
