While her time in the political spotlight has been brief, Marjorie Taylor Greene has proven to be a dangerous purveyor of #antisemitic QAnon conspiracies, Islamophobia and racism. A brief background ⬇️ adl.org/qanon
Greene launched her career on Facebook as a conservative firebrand, posting videos of her efforts to confront politicians and activists. She is a vocal supporter of QAnon, which the FBI labels a “potential terrorist threat.” thedailybeast.com/marjorie-green…
In June 2020, Greene's Facebook videos revealed her racist and bigoted statements about American Muslims and Black people in addition to her history of spreading multiple #antisemitic George Soros conspiracy theories. politico.com/news/2020/06/1…
During her campaign, Greene posed for a photo with former neo-Nazi leader Chester Doles, who runs the far-right group American Patriots USA. "Our friend Marjorie Greene is running for Congress,” Doles posted in March to his VK account. “Good friend to have.”
On January 7, ADL called on Twitter to suspend accounts supporting QAnon. On January 11, Twitter reported removing 70,000 QAnon accounts- but did not take action on Greene’s account. adl.org/blog/adl-calls…

Most Americans now see the connection between the dangerous rhetoric from the President and the far-right to the violence at the US Capitol.
Over 60% believe President Trump bears responsibility for what happened on Jan 6th.
The violence at the Capitol was the “latest example of why it’s essential that policymakers and social media companies take concrete action to prevent future violence.” -@JGreenblattADL.
@ADL found most Americans agree social media companies are partly to blame for January 6th.
BREAKING: ADL’s Survey of American Attitudes toward Jews found that, amid the worst outbreak of anti-Semitic violence in decades, 11% of American adults--28M people--harbor deeply ingrained anti-Semitic attitudes. Read the full survey: adl.org/survey-of-amer…
61% of American adults agree with at least one or more classic anti-Semitic canards, whereas 11% agree with six or more of them.
Longstanding stereotypes about “Jewish power” in business and the “dual loyalty” canard – the notion that Jews are more loyal to Israel than to their home country – remain deeply entrenched and are especially widespread.

THREAD: This past Sunday, Louis Farrakhan held his big event of the year, Saviours’ Day, where he routinely spouts outrageous #antiSemitism and #hate. Don’t believe us? Here’s what he said: adl.org/blog/farrakhan…
Farrakhan was not shy in making it known, Jews are his enemy.
Here, he makes anti-Semitic and trans-phobic claims that Jews controlling Hollywood cause people to be transgender.
