(1) Dems are thrilled about this bc they believe Dominion will win the suit. IDC much about Lindell or his claims, but I do know that if you're not careful what you say, you can walk right into legal liability & end up with no credibility &, often, no money. Hope it was worth it.
(2) And now I will provide context and background, bc there's never enough space in one tweet to do that.

I realize Mike Lindell is making claims about the election fraud that all sensible people can see happened. The nature of the fraud is that there were multiple parts to it.
(3) I agree that a large number of those fraud methods occurred in certain states (and in some cases, potentially in all states.) It's become very difficult to find reliable, accurate, sufficiently detailed information on all these cases.
(4) I think that some of the fraud claims made by Lindell, other Trump movement public figures, and Trump himself, would not stand up to scrutiny. That doesn't automatically mean the Democrat narrative is factual. Not at all.
(5) Today I've been reading the transcript of the President's remarks at the Ellipse on 1/6/21. It's true that the Capitol rioters could not have been physically at the Ellipse then the Capitol in the short time between the end of his speech & the first crossing of police lines.
(6) But this line of argument was the dumbest possible way to try to defend Trump's actions or omissions wrt 1/6.

IMHO, pretty much everything he's done (or not done, that he should have) since 1/6 makes it difficult to support his current views without becoming hypocritical.
(7) That just a personal choice I've made, based on what I've observed over the past 5 years in "political Twitter."

It totally sucks that Ds, with a little bit of help from some Rs in state governments, have managed to get into a position to carry out PRC policies in the US.
(8) That doesn't just dismantle the Trump legacy, it dismantles many of the things the USA needs in order to protect national security and fully rebuild the rule of law.

There will be many more deaths than there otherwise would be.
(9) President Trump could have done a lot of things to limit the damage, throughout 2020 and, after the election.

There were things he knew about that his followers did not know about.

It's going to be a long time before we get access to records from this time period.
(10) I'm not referring to the "declassify" stuff that y'all are hoping we get to see before Trump leaves office.

I'm talking about information that he received as President, that could have helped us do more before election day to prevent or address election fraud. And also:
(12) Information about government policies and so on, that wasn't related to the election itself.

Like most other people, before election day I assumed that Trump was fully using the available powers of his office to enforce the relevant laws by which the states must abide.
(13) Yes, there are federal laws about state election processes, and a POTUS has a duty to see that they are enforced.

He also had a duty (within the law) to tell us what was happening.
(14) When POTUS and VP Pence spoke on election night, they projected a sense of confidence that if their win did not start to become apparent then everything in their power as candidates would be done to successfully contest the results.

All I hear about this matter is excuses.
(15) IMO, the lawful contesting of the election results needed to be much more effectively led, from day one. And the President should have ensured the level and type of information flow to the public was a lot stronger.

I said this at the time.
(16) It's now possible to draw conclusions on why these things were not done to the required standard. (Reminder, no excuses: they had the money, and the support from competent attorneys, & data & comms professionals around the country.)
(17) I have now drawn the conclusion that from election night onward, Trump saw an ongoing protest movement as a viable last resort option. He is surely intelligent enough to know that was a very high risk strategy. Ds must have thought their wildest dreams had come true.

(1) I warned y'all about the openly antisemitic Anthime Joseph "Tim" Gionet AKA Baked Alaska way back in 2016.

His record in activism/ petty crime is similar to that of "Ali Alexander" AKA Ali Akbar.

It's not "performance art": People get killed. See: 3/15/19 in NZ.
(2) On 3/15/19 in Christchurch NZ 51 innocent members of the public were shot & killed by an Australian male whose behavior & beliefs are not that dissimilar to what we've seen by some who unlawfully entered the Capitol on 1/6/21.

Maybe that's why my view differs from others.
(3) I am on the side of every person who was lawfully in the Capitol that day. Not just the politicians: the cops, the staff, and anyone else who wasn't there with the intent of threatening politicians to vote a certain way OR ELSE.

That's why so many are being arrested.

(1) My thought on this development.

There is a history of Trump or his associates intentionally allowing notes to be photographed by media. There is also a history of them doing it unintentionally.

For now, I'll assume these notes were written by Lindell, not Trump.
(2) Thoughts*. I meant to say these are my thoughts on it. I can never do justice to a topic like this in one tweet.

The info we can see in the photo of the notes is obviously incomplete, but there's enough that points to some of the batshit insane ideas of some associates.
(3) The followers of the batshit insane associates tend to believe that on J20 Trump will somehow magically make it all better by using the military, and making high profile arrests.

I'm here to tell you that most MAGA folk DO NOT believe this garbage. They hate the Qanon crap.

(1) Oh great. More remarks that will only fuel more division. Yeah yeah I know various people are gonna unfollow, block or say mean words to me for trying to assess this speech objectively.

You think I care about that rn? You don't know me at all. Start with my pinned tweet.
(2) From 2015, Trump's opponents exaggerated his flaws, made stuff up, & refused to see the good things he often did.

Part of the effect was to make his supporters dig in deeper to defend him. There was willful blindness.

Opponents should be glad eyes are opening up. But, no.
(3) People on both sides allow "emotional reasoning" (in quotes because it isn't reasoning at all) to invade the space in their mind where logical reasoning and basic empathy should be in charge.

My empathy never wavered but I did let emotion go too far.

That said,

I can't even say it was good that he said this, bc saying it 7 days later makes a mockery of the words.

It only inflames. I spoke up several times in Dec/Jan about his tweets recklessly, needlessly promoting the march. Then I saw him fail to review USCP status on the AM of 1/6.
OTOH this, is an example of statesmanship.

I now realize Mike Pence has represented all Americans by being by the President's side all this time in case intervention was genuinely needed.

On 1/6, it was. Not before.

whitehouse.gov/briefings-stat…
What Mike Pence has been put through is incredible poor treatment in both directions. He showed us how to keep your cool and do your duty no matter what.

The left has always said disgusting hateful things about him.

Then a noisy faction on the right started letting rip.

The Ds aren't doing this to reduce the incitement of violence. That's just the cover story.

They're doing all this stuff to neutralize opposition. Experts on foreign revolutions; the faster they take over, the greater chance of success.

Act accordingly. Get offline, & prep.
Above photo: People trying to get into the US Embassy Saigon compound in 1975.

I was gonna spend today writing threads about how to prepare for what's ahead in the next few weeks. Then I saw the Ds' timeframe is more like days, hours even.

So that all went out the window.
I have no idea if I'll be able to tweet for long so please take nothing for granted from now on.

You and your family can get through this. Please don't give up hope. A couple of days ago I thought about folk at risk of suicide. Check on those around you. Ask how they are.

(1) Updated list of 12 Senate objectors:

@SenLummis (Cynthia) - New Senator, new a/c: Give her a follow
@TTuberville
@HawleyMO
@SenTedCruz
@SenRonJohnson
@jameslankford
@SteveDaines
@SenJohnKennedy
@MarshaBlackburn
@SenatorBraun
@RogerMarshallMD
@BillHagertyTN
(2) Please be careful about circulating Twitter account names that are NOT run by the Senator. I've verified each one of these as accurate, working off this list that included errors (see next tweet):

(3) The above list had:

>@SenLummis wrong a/c: "@CynthiaLummis"
>Sen Josh @HawleyMO was omitted
>No link for Sen @TTuberville
>No link for @SenJohnKennedy

We all make mistakes, including me.

The tweet has been circulated widely. Let's get the corrected list out, too.
