Find friends who are “slightly better” than you. If you are with young fools, you will only grow to match them. If you are with intelligent adults, you can grow to reach them.
The purpose of dating is to find someone whom you will spend the rest of your life with. It is not to get into “a relationship”. The truth is that the feeling of “love” is just an arrangement of brain chemicals. They don’t stay that way forever.
