π£ @NicolaSturgeon: "We took a deliberate decision, in line with JCVI advice, to focus on vaccinating older residents in care homes - because that will have the most immediate impact of reducing the death toll.
Right now, 95% of care home residents have been vaccinated." #Marr
π£ @NicolaSturgeon: "We are taking very clear decisions about protecting those who are most vulnerable the most quickly." #Marr
π£ @NicolaSturgeon: "We have a national mission to tackle Scotland's national disgrace of drug deaths.
I have set out additional resources in Parliament, appointed with a dedicated responsibility for this, and it's been very warmly welcomed by frontline campaigners." #Marr
π£ @NicolaSturgeon: "When I hear Boris Johnson talk about Scottish independence, it brings to mind a Burns poem:
"Cowran, tim'rous beastie, O, what a panic's in thy breastie!". He's frightened of democracy." #Marr
π£ @NicolaSturgeon: "Polls now show that a majority of people in Scotland want independence.
If the SNP win the Scottish election on the proposition of giving people that choice, what democrat could stand in the way of that?" #Marr
π£ @NicolaSturgeon: "In May, I'm going to seek the authority of the Scottish people for a legal referendum - and if they give me that authority, that's what I will do to give people the right to choose." #Marr
