1. This is going to be a huge thread about #fantom $ftm. All my thoughts and speculations. Do your own research before getting any. But i would like to share my knowledge and research with you all.

2. Fantom has signed a deal with DABS, which is the biggest energy/electricity distributer in Afghanistan. And Afghanistan has raw minerals worth about 3 Trillion dollars. Especially lithium is important for modern smart cities.

3. This 3 trillion dollar worth of natural resources make Afghanistan a warground. Everyone wants a piece of that cake, so no one gets it. It was a lose-lose situation for a long time. China even offered bounties to kill US soldiers to Afghan militans.

4. China also has a Belt and Road project for a long time. They gave many countries loans to build infrastructure, the countries couldn't pay the loans back, China got the right to use those infrastructures. Especially ports and important highways. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belt_and_…

5. China has more than 1 trillion dollars of US treasury bonds. Which means US has a debt of 1 trillion dollars to China. After Trump goes to China, somehow peace efforts are made in Afghanistan. China probably threat to sell those bonds to world.

6. China also has its own CBDC project. It's been piloted almost for 2 years. Which can be used as a currency in the near future.

7. And Afghanistan has started an initiative to open stock market of the country. Last #fantom AMA showed that fantom has something to do with this too. Listen Sam for better info.

8. Stock markets on blockchain, stocks can be traded with cryptocurrencies, companies can be funded on cryptocurrencies, China has a cryptocurrency. Are you staying with me?

9. Afghanistan is also important to China for its location. Not just for resources, but its location is in the middle of Belt and Road project. If Afghanistan builds its infrastructure, China will have a better way to transport goods to Europe. And it can be funded with RMB.

10. And all those things can't be achieved without a decentralized currency. If Afghanistan tries to use its own (how can they without the technology infrastructure but anyway) Any potential enemy can disrupt the network. If it's decentralized, they can not.

11. If those things are true, %33 attack will be so important not just for us as a community, but WHOLE COUNTRY. They can not allow any of their enemies to attack the tech infrastructure. If it costs 500 million $ to destroy 3 trillion $ economy, even i would do it.

12. And #fantomfinance. Derivatives market is a huge market.

13.With synthetics, #fantom users will be able to bet on anything in near future.
With almost no tx costs.
Without middle mans.
Just from their phone.
Instantly.

14.All within the #fwallet. No other dapp needed. Although they will probably built on top of Opera chain too, because why not port them in better place where not just the rich can play, but everyone can play.

16. Also if i can think of those things, just curious what #AndreCronje have in mind. He is one of the few people i look up to in this space. He currently is seen as fantom's technical advisor, but he is more involved with the project.

17. You do the math. You do the research. But this is probably bigger than you think. And it's probably bigger than i think too.
