Salam Ulang Tahun #COVID19Malaysia Pertama
Malaysia akan terperangkap didalam satu kitaran PKP yang berterusan jika ia tidak melakukan perakara yang asas didalam usaha mitigasi untuk mengurangkan kes COVID-19

Kaedah Find-Test-Trace-Isolate-Support (FTTIS) masih tidak beroperasi dgn berkesan.
KKM berdegil dgn pengunaan PCR
PCR ujian yg baik untuk kegunaan diagnostik & rawatan dihospital.
Tetapi ia lembab & tidak merupakan alat terpilih kesihatan awam utuk saringan COVID-19 di medan.
KKM mesti tukar ASAP kpd ujian pantas antigen (RTK-Ag)
Ia boleh diagnos COVID-19 dlm masa 1 jam
Ia tidak memerlukan makmal yang canggih & mahal.
Kes positif boleh diberitahu cepat-sehari aje-boleh diisolasi.
Dlm 2 hari contact tracing boleh dijlnkan & kuarantin boleh dilaksana.
Dengan demikian kes2 sporadik & kluster COVID-19 boleh dikenal pasti dgn kadar segera & penularan nya boleh dibenteras dengan pantas.
Kaedah PCR yg diguna KKM sekarang memakan masa sehingga 5-7 hari.
Ini akan memberi kesempatan masa kepada virus korona untuk tersebar luas.
Kaedah pengesanan kontak yg diguna pakai KKM juga tidak berkesan.
Masih guna kaedah manual!
MySejahtera berfungsi sebyk 4% saja
Tanpa kesan kontak yg efektif dgn Apps Digital/Data Sains/AI kes covid akan terlepas drp penjejakan yg rapi & akan menular kedlm komuniti
KKM tidak boleh berdegil dgn cara kerja lapuk gelombang yang ke-2
Ia tidak membawa apa impak positif kpd penularan virus korona digelombang ke-3.

“Org gila melakukan cara kerja yg sama tetapi mengharapkan hasil yg berlainan”
Saya yakin jika strategi kesihatan awam FTTIS yg asas ini dibaik pulih dgn kadar segera, kita tidak akan memerlukan PKP yang ketat pada bulan Feb 2021

All of our efforts to combat COVID-19 would remain futile if our leaders do not lead by example and walk the talk.
If the minister who preaches daily on TV about the nation’s pandemic situation is “cakap tak serupa bikin” ...
And the head of the healthcare services practices double standards and bow to the whims and fancies of the politicians, then the nation will perpetually remain at the mercy of the coronavirus and will be continually trapped in a vicious cycle of MCOs.

Present COVID predicament wud have been averted if KKM had heeded SOP:
1 Quarantined Sabah returnees who r Super-Spreader(SS) persons
2 Re-tested returnees from Sabah PRN- SS event
3 Dealt appropriately with prison & detention centre clusters- SS event

In early & late COVID the viral load is LOW
Thus less infectious
Poor pick up by RTK-Ag ie less sensitive but of little consequence since non-infectious

At high viral loads and very infectious including asymptomatic & pre-symptomatic cases at CT<25 RTK-Ag detection is >95%
Thus surveillance tool of choice

Testing to diagnose a patient with #COVID19 is different from testing a person to accurately identify people who are most at risk of transmitting SARS-CoV-2.
Such individuals tend to have higher viral loads which makes the virus easier to detect.

It is doable & will lift us out of the pandemic

Check List of Dos & Don’ts for #SelfIsolation for Interim Action
1 If U have a positive test result but don’t have symptoms, stay at home & #SelfIsolate as soon as U rec the results.
2 Yr household needs to isolate too.
3 Pusat Kesihatan Daerah will contact U in due course-1
3. U can leave yr home only in certain circumstances.
4. But do NOT go to work/school/public spaces.
5. Do NOT use public transport or taxis.
6. If U need to leave your home, U MUST observe strict wearing of masks & physical distancing and return immediately afterwards-2
7. In Sgor @stfc_selangor informs yr test results via @Selangkah_cvd19 within 24 hours of testing. So U do NOT need to leave yr home to get your test results.

8. Stay as far away from other members of your household as possible, especially if they are high risk groups-3
