As of today, there are 26,215 B.1.1.7 sequences on GISAID from 47 countries. 24,364 of those sequences are from the UK.
pangolin assigned lineage B.1.351 to 660 sequences on GISAID from 20 countries. 524 of those sequences were from South Africa.
No increase in public P.1 sequences today. There are still 4 countries with P.1 sequences on GISAID: Brazil 24, Japan 4, Faroe_Islands 1 and South_Korea 1. @nmrfaria
63 countries have reported cases of B.1.1.7 (47 of which have B.1.1.7 sequences on GISAID). Newly reported is Bulgaria, one of the highest passenger volume destinations from London airports in October: sofiaglobe.com/2021/01/23/pro…

Lineage P.1 has been reported in 7 countries: Brazil, Japan, the Faroe Islands, South Korea, Italy, Germany and the UK.
