1/4 The anger and division in our society have risen to extreme levels and have threatened the safety and security of way too many airline flights. nyti.ms/3a4CDPS@nytimes@NYTimesCramer
2/4 Dangerous and abusive behavior and violence put at risk every soul on board, and even if you aren't physically threatened, it makes for a hellacious experience, when many are already nervous about flying, even before #COVID19.
3/4 Flight attendants, who are there for your safety, have been put even more on the front lines since the 9/11 terror attacks, and now must deal with extreme politically-motivated abuse.
4/4 This cannot be tolerated in a sealed tube containing hundreds of people seven or eight miles above the earth at least 30 minutes from help. Surely we can all summon up the civic duty to coexist on an airplane for a few hours so we can all get where we're going unscathed.

1/4 Normally this holiday week, we would be getting ready to celebrate #Thanksgiving together. But there hasn’t been anything normal about this year.
2/4 I almost didn't know where to start our message this year, with #COVID, many who lost loved ones, jobs, homes, everything; the ongoing struggle for racial justice, and the divisions in our country; extreme wildfires, hurricanes and flooding. Our thoughts are with all of you.
3/4 Our family is doing our part to help #stopthespread. It’s the least we can do. Though we'll miss the board games, laughter & closeness this year, we are grateful for the memories in these photos, & look forward to a time when we can all be together again to make more of them.
1/9 I am a veteran. I volunteered for military service during wartime. So did my father. His generation saved the world from fascism.
2/9 In our travels, my wife Lorrie and I have always made it a point to visit military bases, hospitals and cemeteries, to meet and honor those who serve and have served our nation.
3/9 I have long known that serving a cause greater than oneself is the highest calling, whether in the military or in civilian life. And I have always tried to be a voice of reason and to speak in a measured way.
