Please check this out.

Check the lame attempt to distance this behaviour from Conservatives & pin it on People’s Party. A fringe party. When CPC clearly contributed toxic rhetoric to the two assassination attempts on PMJT this past July 2020.

globalnews.ca/news/7600018/r…
This article makes me feel very unsafe.

A sub machine gun. Not that I’m familiar with gun terminology, but yikes!

This arrest does demonstrate that the unhinged far right stochastic terrorist (or many of them) is a probability in Canada.

But how many of them are there?
The article doesn’t say. But “where we go one we go all” is the Q’Anon motto. And there are literally millions of Q’Anon in Canada.

Q’Anon is a internet based death cult, spreading globally like wildfire.

Many of the Capitol rioter insurgents have been confirmed as Q’Anon.
The guy in the weird horns and naked chest is a Q’Anon shamen. Whatever that means. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Worse, many of the Capitol insurgents were also evangelical Christians. Declaring god was on their side and provided moral absolution for their ambitions of murdering Democrats.
So there could be literally millions of Canadians with these insane beliefs and a stock load of guns and ammunition.

Kinda makes one want to lock the doors and hole up at home, forever.

But that will only give these unhinged radical extremists what they want. Power & control.
It’s time we start demanding politicians to condemn this behaviour. Stop feeding red meat toxic rhetoric to domestic terrorists and deplatform the propaganda amplifiers.

We need federal and provincial legislation to address stochastic terrorism.
Fat chance we will ever see that in Alberta. But federally declaring Proud Boys a domestic terror entity is not nearly enough.

We require a federal response to domestic terror threats.

We need public service announcements informing the public of what the threat level is.
We need to build public awareness of stochastic terrorism and the rhetoric that accompanies it originating from politicians and political pundits. Like this garbage from Preston Manning: nationalpost.com/opinion/presto…
For one, he has no valid reason to be given a public platform to attempt to equate livelihoods with the value of actual human lives. Additionally, his assumptions that the federal government need address his foolish opines is hubris and political posturing.
And finally, his focus on the loss of charter rights vs the realities of a deadly global pandemic is tantamount to suggesting the population he represents will not tolerate further covid measures that prevent citizens from earning a livelihood. It’s a veiled threat.
How this opinion article made it past editors at National Post is no secret.

Some owners and board members of Postmedia are directly connected to Donald Trump. And Postmedia news outlets have been publishing propaganda and disinformation for years.
Ever since Harper removed restrictions on foreign ownership of key Canadian cultural assets; i.e. the news.

These issues must be dealt with immediately.

Make proposed legislation widely known to the public. Along with the cause and effect of stochastic terror speech.
Use public pressure and the knowledge of January 6, 2021 act of treason and insurrection to protect Canadians from foreign agents publishing incendiary material. Hold these news organizations to account. Fine them heavily and force public retractions for amplifying toxic BS.
We are not powerless. We can pushback on demagoguery and populist rhetoric that creates alternate realities.

We don’t live in the US and Canadian freedom of expression is not an unlimited right to create chaos and feed red meat to extremists and radicalized menaces.
That’s what we do with our fear. Turn it into action and public pressure to support the government to protect all citizens.

Because there will be backlash from those who use the unregulated internet and foreign owned and controlled MSM to amplify disinformation narratives.
We will have those who bellow it’s an infringement of their rights to mitigate lies and false information.

But until we can effectively quell the multiple echo chambers that have created alternate realities that promote hate and violence, we live in a state of constant fear.
Stochastic terrorism is about probabilities. We know toxic rhetoric inflames vulnerable unhinged citizens, but we have no way of predicting who will use the tacit approval to employ violence or when or where. We just know through calculating probability that it WILL happen.
This is the modern form of terrorism. Perfected by foreign terrorist groups and now employed by domestic far right politicians and organizations.

January 6, 2021 attack of the US Capitol was only possible because there were no limits imposed on American free speech.
Rhetoric is verbal psychological manipulation. It’s persuasion. And it’s powerful.

The power of speech is well known and studied. Toxic forms of speech cause violent outcomes. That’s fact, as factual as water is wet.
There is a cause effect relationship between violence & speech known as incendiary provocation.

If it’s illegal to encourage vulnerable people to harm themselves, then it should be illegal to encourage vulnerable people to harm others. Regardless of plausible deniability.
Public speech and those who speak publicly must be held to account. It should NOT be permissible to incite hatred, insinuate violence is warranted or acceptable, and it should be a crime when it happens.
This is a long-standing and well known social norm that needs to be codified. And it needs action now. Not later when we collectively forget about the absolute treason caused by the President of the US and an assortment of his complicit henchmen.

The public is afraid.
We need some armour to protect ourselves from stochastic terrorism, since it is now being used by far right to intimidate and create catastrophe.

Good thing it’s already in the works.
What the federal government requires is vocal public support. Just like the long gun ban. The majority of the public must demand this legislation be passed and reach royal assent.

This isn’t partisan, but read the comments on the article arguing hate speech should be free.
You want to turn your fear into action and make Canada a better and safer place for all, then show this legislation your support. Write a letter or email. Follow @s_guilbeault and let him know we want and need this legislation.

Stop stochastic terrorism. It’s killing democracy.

Well, well, well.

Independent economic report commissioned by provincial BCNDP government recommending help for those in need, BUT NOT UBI.

Economists recommend raising rates for those in poverty. Reorganizing benefits available. But not UBI.
While the concept of UBI is attractive, the cost is prohibitive.

Unless the federal government renegotiates social program transfer payments and expectations, UBI is untenable.

With 7 conservative premiers at the helm, a UBI seems quite unlikely any time soon.
I believe I said that a few years ago. Could have saved BC millions in a 2 year analysis and report.

How anyone could expect a different outcome is baffling!?!

Provinces are responsible for social programs, not the federal government.

Listen to these podcasts please.

Listen to how calm one of the “Chicago Boys” is while he describes implementing austerity that killed people and a violent regime that murdered the elected leader and many citizens. Disappeared many more.
Does this situation not sound eerily similar to what happened during the Capitol riot & act of insurrection but failed on January 6, 2021? A mere 4 weeks ago tomorrow?

That’s because it’s the same group behind the Capitol riot: US far right and wealthy libertarian plutocrats.
Chile was the first in a series of US sponsored coups to permanently install neoliberal free market ideology and Austrian economics (Mises, Hayek, Friedman) in vulnerable nations to enhance the profits of the wealthy and prevent any changes to redistribute wealth to the poor.

The inconsistency in cons narrative is hilarious 😆

So do CPC know up from down? Left from right?

Or do they just say whatever they think Canadians want to hear to obtain and maintain power?

That’s called DEMAGOGIC POPULISM
The emergence of demagogic populism did not originate with Trump, or with the Reform Party in Canada. Demagoguery is as old as politics.

But the current form is horrifically diabolical and toxic to western democracy.

thegeopolitics.com/demagogue-popu…
While this article calls this iteration of demagogic populism fringe, it’s definitely crossed into mainstream.

It’s destroying the very foundations of democracy. Which is precisely what it is designed to do. Politicians don’t need to stay in power to inflict long term damage.

How much time do we need to waste yammering about KXL now that it’s dead.

Haven’t conservatives heard the adage “There’s no use in flogging a dead horse?”

Apparently not.
Or is this self-righteous indignation a distraction from the fact CPC, Ontario PC and Alberta UCP are good buddies and close associates with the Republican GOP treasonous goons who conspired to kill democracy, and helped organize a violent insurrection?
Months ago, CPC were complaining QP was required to hold the government accountable. What we’re witnessing now are opposition MP posers attempting to create sound bytes for propaganda distribution. KXL is dead.

Ain’t no amount of flogging gonna breathe life into it again.

Please read this thread in entirety. 💥💥💥💥💥

Why? Because it’s a documentation of the utter bullshit conspiracy theories being propagated in Alberta and confirmation it’s being coordinated in multiple provinces and nationally.
The people listening to this are already Q’Anon converts or Dominionist Christians or both simultaneously.

Don’t be fooled into false assurances that this is a serious challenge to UCP dominance.
Much like Kamikaze candidates who do the dirty work for the real candidate, smears, dirty politics, spreading disinformation; we now have provincial and national Kamikaze political parties doing the dirty work for provincial and national conservatives.

There are a lot of people confused about what Kenney is doing regarding KXL.

It’s a strategy. I keep trying to inform people he is not speaking to the public at large. He is only directing his rhetoric at his support base. Which happens to be the same make up as Trump’s in US.
Which is why you see him on Fox News today informing American Q’Anon and Dominionist Christians that Biden has broken the trust between Canada and US.

Millions of Q’Anon and Dominionists consider Biden as illegitimate.
This is fuel and fodder for the conspiracy theories circulating that Biden stole the 2020 elections.

His appearance on Fox pushing propaganda and disinformation is proof of where his political allegiances lie. Right alongside Trump and seditious Republicans.
