Both Lindsey Graham and Bill Barr professed particular concern over why Crossfire Hurricane wasn't reeled in as a result of Primary Subsource testimony in Jan 2017 and promised to investigate.
2/ on Apr 27, 2020, Graham made a well-constructed request to DOJ for the key FBI memos and texts that would document FBI's reception of PSS/Danchenko testimony which ought to have raised concern about fraud in Steele dossier
judiciary.senate.gov/press/rep/rele…
3/ only ONE relevant document has been produced: the EC on the Jan 2017 interview with PSS/Danchenko, which is arguably the single most important document on Russiagate hoax thus far made available.
4/ but DOJ/Graham have produced nothing else responsive to Apr 2020 request, Including:
1a. notes and 302 for Mar and May 2017 PSS interviews;
1b. Intelligence Memorandum circulated by SIA Auten in late Feb 2017 to Priestap and others re Primary Sub-source’s interview.
2. complete Feb 15, 2017, email exchange among Strzok, Priestap and others, in which Strzok stated that “recent interviews and investigation, however, reveal [Steele] may not be in a position to judge the reliability of his sub-source network.”
3. complete Mar 31, 2017, email exchange between OI Attorney and OGC Attorney Clinesmith regarding second FISA Renewal Application and Primary Sub-Source’s credibility. [Note - also concealed in Clinesmith plea]
4. complete email exchange between SIA Auten and OGC Attorney Clinesmith in Mar 2017 referenced in Footnote 389 of the OIG Report. (Not produced in Clinesmith plea either.)
5. the “analytical documents prepared by, or with the assistance of [SIA Auten] after the Primary Sub-source interview” that “identified inconsistencies between Steele and the Primary Sub-source regarding some of the information contained in Reports 94 and 95.”
These documents are all fundamental to Russiagate hoax. While Auten was interviewed by Graham's committee, the transcript is totally uninformative on these important issues - perhaps because DOJ had withheld the documents from Graham or perhaps
perhaps because they were still classified at time of Auten's interview and thus off limits.
Trump's failure to ensure that these documents, already listed by Senate committee, were not rolled out in promised declassification release is one more, but very important, example of both the incompetence of Trump's declassification and intransigence of bureaucratic obstruction

Matthew Petti, in Reason magazine reason.com/2021/01/10/why… asks the sensible question "Why is America still in Syria?", but falsely stated that "Trump brought chaos to a region already on the brink". While I am very disappointed in Trump's failure to disentangle, it is ludicrous
2/ to blame Trump admin for chaos initiated under Obama regime. In late 2016, ISIS (grey) controlled vast swathes of Iraq and Syria, while AlQaeda and allies controlled northwest and southwest Syria. Syria's largest city, Aleppo, partly controlled by AlQaeda.
3/ Trump did not "bring chaos" to Syria. It was Obama admin which tried to carry out regime change in Syria, in a program in which it out-sourced "ground game", recklessly arming jihadis and militants until both AlQaeda and ISIS were formidable forces.

THREAD: on 2nd day of Steele October 2017 interview. Long thread on first day of Steele Oct 2017 hre
2/ the second day portion of 302 appears to begin on page 15 with FBI recording Steele's statement that "sub-sources are not paid for information". Indeed, sometimes (e.g. Millian), PSS never even met or talked to supposed "sub-source". Image
3/ notwithstanding Steele's claim, Danchenko has previously told FBI that he had sought help from Orbis to assist Source 1(Abyshev)'s [daughter?] in obtaining a "scholarship for language courses". However, FBI didn't challenge Steele on this. Image

Mark Steyn has filed an eviscerating and well-informed Motion for Summary Judgement in the Michael Mann vanity libel suit. steynonline.com/documents/1097…
with memorandum steynonline.com/documents/1097…
2/ Steyn, for the most part, stayed out of the complicated SLAAP proceedings, holding his fire for the Summary Judgement phase. I'm not going to review or precis these documents, but will quote a couple of sizzling early paragraphs.
3/ Steyn notes that court previously identified issue as whether Penn State conducted "inadequate and ineffective investigations into their employees, including Sandusky and Mann". Steyn: "it has been thoroughly adjudicated" and Mann's mentor "is heading to jail".

As recently pointed out by Alan Dershowitz, the kangaroo court proceedings being pushed through by Congress are violation of constitutional prohibition against "bills of attainder". Which are explained here:
law.cornell.edu/constitution-c…
2/ in the past, prohibition against legislatures purporting to exercise judicial authority without observing usual forms of evidence have been interpreted strictly by US courts. Seems obvious - why haven't Trump's lawyers done something about it?
3/ Read language carefully: bill of attainder clause said to "prohibit all legislative acts, “no matter what their form, that apply either to named individuals or to easily ascertainable members of a group in such a way as to inflict punishment on them without a judicial trial".

a detail from Steele 302 for people interested in data, as opposed to wild speculations. Identity of the SSA who accompanied SIA Brian Auten to Steele Oct 2017 interview is presently unknown. There is 12-character and 9 character redaction below. Prob SSA 12345678 and SIA Auten
2/ from comparison of slightly different redactions in first paragraphs of two 302 versions, it appears that SSA 1234567890123 in 1st paragraph is SSA 1234 12345678 - no initial.
3/ some time ago, walkafyre observed that Paul Woodbery, Priestap's former Chief of Staff, became ALAT in London in May 2016. He was still ALAT in London in Oct 2017.

Solomon has published two new documents, only one of which is listed on his Dig Here page justthenews.com/sites/default/…. and is rehash of notes released by Grassley in Dec. See my thread here

Some new info in other doc justthenews.com/sites/default/…
2/ Solomon said that the 302 of the Steele October 2017 is the "first" declassified document. Solomon told Lou Dobbs yesterday that he would be up all night with the releases. Morning has come and thus far. the 302 is the ONLY declassification. Image
3/ most of the content of the 302 was already known from the (redacted) SIA notes on the Steele Oct 2017 interview which were published in December 2020 and slightly, and mostly irrelevantly, less redacted in this version.
