start looking at the genomes and similarities.
The size of the bovine genome is 3GB (3 billion base pairs).

It contains approximately 22,000 genes of which 14,000 are common to all mammalian species. Bovines share 80% of their genes with humans.

Cows are less similar to humans than rodents. we share 85% DNA with a mouse. Maybe why we have temple for rats also.

Cows also have about 1,000 genes that they share with dogs and rodents but not identified in humans.

We share 50% of our DNA with each of our parents. But with bananas, we share about 50% of our genes, which turns out to be only about 1% of our DNA.

Humans share about 1% of their DNA with other fruits& 61% with a fruit fly.

In a sense, We are all relatives!"
Simple #Genomics ?

#Gotra states the origin of Y (out of XY/XX) chromosome, as we can see the pattern that Y is present only in males, and it is passed from father to son.

Thus, it states our lineage of genes. It is ancient way of preserving/recording the genetical lineage.

This is the reason why females after marriage are to change their gotra, while male children remain with same gotra.

#Marriage in same Gotra is forbidden, since they share a common ancestor from father side, making them brother and sister, including hereditary defects.

This is science & nature's gift to manage our history through ancient wisdom.

Evolution of families & marriage system contributed to #MaleDominated society, but gave much respect to women balancing the family & relationships.

Modern ignorants demand equality through XX & XY competitive chromosomes!
