Me: Well, part of the problem is many of these places open slots at a certain time and so you have to sign up right away so you can get one of those spots.

Ladies, gentleman, everyone...we must do better. My cancer patients, primarily from Black and LatinX communities are begging me to help them get scheduled for the vaccine. This rollout needs to go smoother, we shouldn't be trying to sign up for vaccines like concert tickets.

I am so appreciative that I was able to get my vaccine in the first group so that I can continue to take care of my patients. But we need some better strategies moving forward.

My patients are in high risk communities, and many of their friends are vaccine hesitant. They are convincing their FRIENDS and FAMILY to get the vaccine but they are all having trouble scheduling. We MUST do better.
