That is 1 in every 566 U.K. citizens have died of Covid.
Remember the reporting lag. So deaths are still being added to 15/1/21. The close to today the more will be added.
⚰️⚰️1239 of those deaths were added today.
🦠🦠🦠28,680 cases (now processing more of Monday’s swabs)
🏥 admissions slowly coming down (over 3k in a day) but bother they and in hospital Covid 🛏 in patient numbers (nearly 37k) ares till very high indeed.
Overall ventilator 🛌 numbers (3937) slowly coming down, especially in England (3602)
Less clear for the other 3 nations.

Of those 476,298 have received 2 doses.
I mean. If we are going to test 200,000 to 353,670 people a day using lateral flow tests one would think it was worth reporting how many tested negative, positive and unclear, in which settings and local prevalence.
How many confirmed through PCR.
Especially if we are spending £800 million on it.

Esp to see if the the money could be better spent supporting isolation.
AstraZeneca was signed as Oxford’s partner on 30 April and signed a deal to supply 100m doses to the UK a fortnight later. Ministers were prepared to pay a few hundred million upfront, allowing the company to build its first virus manufacturing process.

There are 5 cases, each running a little over 10 pages, each telling FB what to do with a single piece of content
All but one are unanimous
4 overturn FB’s original decisions to remove posts
1 agrees with FB
Extraordinary the number of decisions taken by Facebook moderators.
Do five decisions really have any impact? What about the more quotidian cases as opposed to the big Trump fanfare ones?
The 80% reversal rate is not the only sign that the FOB does not intend to extend Facebook much deference. These decisions show the FOB’s intention to interpret its remit expansively to attempt to force Facebook to clean up its content moderation act.
