The graphic design sucks.
The content sucks even more. Here's why, in an itemized list:

1) Jews aren't a race. The notion that Jews ARE a race was literally invented by the precursors to Nazis as a way to make their antisemitism seem more rational and scientific. James Lindsay, self-proclaimed not-prejudiced-guy is recapitulating this excuse for antisemitism.

2) Acceptance of racial stereotypes by average Americans has been DECLINING since 2001. Exactly contrary to what James Lindsay is claiming here, as Critical Race Theory has gained traction in mainstream academia, racial prejudice has decreased.

3) Pursuing equity is not the same thing as saying it's okay to discriminate. What it IS saying is that privileged classes ALREADY have social capital that non-privileged classes lack. "Therefore it's okay to discriminate against whites" is a leap Lindsay is making on his own.

3a) This tells us more about Lindsay than it does about anything else. This isn't a statement of any kind of fear, not a statement of fact. When we say "inequitable systems should be made equitable", what JL hears is "you're gonna take something away from me."

4) The right-wing antisemitic trope of Jews as 'imposters' pretending to be white predates CRT by hundreds of years, as does the left-wing antisemitic trope that Jews are actually super-elites that are ESPECIALLY enemies of the common people.

4a) By attributing these things as being caused by CRT, James Lindsay is both undermining the history of antisemitic abuses and also blaming Jews for causing antisemitism. A double scoop of antisemitism from the guy literally labelling himself as the lone voice against it.

5) It's been DAYS now of Jews telling JL that he is wrong, that he is amplifying damaging tropes about Jews and increasing the danger to Jews, and that his whole premise is, itself, antisemitic.

5a) By refusing to listen to the people he's "defending", JL is positioning himself as the White Savior. Doing so protects and defends white supremacy, both by paternalism (i.e. "You silly Jews, you don't know what you're talking about, listen to me, a Smart White Man")

5b) ... and also by creating an unfalsifiable hypothesis that obviates white Christian America from culpability in perpetuating antisemitism ("We TOLD those Jews what to do, but they just wouldn't listen to us, so all this antisemitism isn't OUR fault, we did our best")

In short:
This graphic is example eleventy-billion from the past several days showing that James Lindsay is, contrary to his self-proclaimed status as Defender of Liberal Ideas, a reactionary who bends over backwards to defend white privilege and white supremacy.

Ugh. This IS a statement of fear, NOT a statement of any kind of fact. Stupid re-phrasing editing to get under 280.
