Continuing failure of the Fauci and the NIH to investigate COVID19 treatments. Evidence is clear that secondary bacterial infections, out of control inflammation and micro-coagulation are all primary concerns.

Cytokine inflammation response has many potential treatments identified from other diseases. But where is the well funded research on this. Dexamethasone, aspirin and a few other drugs used but there are many possibilities. Great news is coming in on one, Fluvoxamine.

Work at Washington University in St. Louis highlighted this early. On going RCTs continue to study it. Work in other countries is verifying effectiveness.

But as usual, no significant attention is being paid to these extraordinary findings, albeit in small studies. Most importantly, the anti-inflammatory properties apply to late stage disease. We knew in February 2019.

Micro-coagulation is getting attention with the use of aspirin and blood thinners but the depth of study and funding has lagged the evidence. Where are the treatment studies?

Even opportunistic bacterial infection control had not been extensively studied, further complicated by discriminating antibiotic from antiviral activity. RECOVERY just published a study of Azithromycin used by itself in late stage patients, hardly impressive priorities.

This is a complete abdication of responsibility by the NIH, WHO and others. Particularly if new variants are not controlled by the vaccine, they have interfered with potentially life saving treatments at every turn. This has allowed hundreds of thousands to die, needlessly.

Improper focus on treating COVID19 as a monolithic disease, it has multiple pathways and treatments:
1) Viral infection,
2) Multiple tissue attacks,
3) Micro-coagulation,
4) Hypoxic effects,
5) Cytokine storm,
6) Iron buildup,
7) Opportunistic bacterial infection, and
8) others.
