I am really surprised that the ancient but prescient movie "Joe" was not released during the previous Reign of Error.

Released at the apex of the hippie movement. Joe, a story about red necks killing hippies cost $106,000 and made almost $20 million in box office. The year before Easy Rider was made for $400k and took in 60 million. Another film about red necks killing hippies.

The movie Billy Jack was kind of the reverse but the main character wasn't a hippie or a redneck but he did whoop rednecks. It only made $10 million on initial release.

Will there be contemporaneous films that capture "today", a sense of right vs left. The film industry isn't really tackling the American divide in film. If anyone has a flick that nails it (docs don't count) throw it up. My fave Pres film: Being There.

I say this because I truly believe America needs someone in the film industry to capture the last four years in a way that we can all turn a mirror on ourselves and capture the weirdness. So let's do this. Cuz there is nothing to watch on Netflix these days.

Wait...wait...this just in. Mr Pillow announces he is releasing a three hour motion picture extravaganza that will define our generation. “Gone With The Win”. Which may refer to his money, reputation and business.

I can't wait for Lindell's "Apileofshit Now" epic three hour film. I stocked up on tinfoil, signed on to Parler, got some Jesus/Flag/MAGA emojis and a stole a fake MILF photo/bio. Let's do this. But first this warm up flick.
