Teething is not a disease!
Teething is not a sickness!
Teething is a normal part of your child's development. Don't give your baby wrong medications in the name of treating them for 'teething'.
This is dangerous. Pls, stop it!
A thread 🧵
Retweet for awareness!
Normally, babies are born with a full set of teeth underneath their gums.
During the first year of life, these teeth begin to cut through the gums & most infants start teething between 6 & 12 months.
When they reach 3 years, their first set of 20 teeth shall have completed.
As teeth erupt through the gums, your child might show MILD SYMPTOMS, such as;
- poor appetite
- mild irritability
- drooling of saliva
- chewing on objects &
- occasional sore gums which may be swollen & reddish.
These normal teething 'symptoms' are mild, & can easily be relieved by simple methods such as;
🔹Rubbing the child’s gums with a clean damp washcloth, clean finger, or gum-rubbing finger pad, or
🔹Giving the child 'teething rings' to chew on & relieve the distress
This is OK!
But there are strong traditional beliefs in some places which suggest that children fall sick when they're growing teeth so they need some traditional remedies or antibiotics to treat the "teething".
This is a myth! Pls ignore it for the sake of your baby's health.
Whenever your child has SERIOUS SYMPTOMS like fever, diarrhoea, vomiting, convulsion or difficulty in breathing, these are usually due to other problems, not teething!
It could be malaria, diarrhoeal disease, meningitis, febrile convulsion, pneumonia, or other diseases.
So, if your child develops those or other serious complains, take them to your doctor for checkup & treatment.
Don't let anyone make you give your child wrong medicines in the name of teething!
Remember, a child won't start falling very sick just because they're growing teeth!
Sadly, some parents & caregivers give their infants dangerous substances (which can harm them) in the name of treating teething.
E.g. they use; 1- alcohol 2- aspirin 3- plastic toys 4- raw herbs, 5- powerful antibiotics, etc
No, your baby doesn't need any of these. Pls, stop!
Help share this information with all parents, caregivers, nursing mothers, and all who will need it.
People should stop giving infants all manner of harmful 'remedies' in the name of treating their children for teething! @firstdoctorr

During orgasm, a powerful array of chemicals is released in your body. These include the cuddle-chemical (oxytocin), endorphins, melatonin, nitric oxide, adrenaline & others.
The result is a calming, almost numbing effect that makes you wanna sleep so deeply.
Some of the chemicals mentioned above are not released UNTIL YOU REACH ORGASM! So if your sex doesn't reach orgasm, you may not experience all these.
How sleepy you feel after sex depends on whether you reached orgasm or not.
Generally, ladies are more sensitive to the stimulant effect of adrenaline.
This is why sometimes after a powerful orgasm, some women feel energized - they may squirt, scream like hell, squeeze you, or even shake like they've just had an electric shock!
They don't walk for the first few months, so such shoes are useless. Using yarn boots or loose socks is enough.
Wearing babies tight shoes or tight socks can cause ingrown toenails.
Pass on!
Children, adolescents & teens are particularly prone to having ingrown toenails from tight-fitting footwear.
That's because they tend to outgrow their footwear quickly.
Crowding their feet into tight socks & short shoes can cause painful ingrown toenails which may get infected.
Even adults who constantly wear tight-fitting shoes are at risk of having ingrown toenails.
So it's advised that people wear loose socks & better-fitting shoes.
E.g. you shouldn't struggle with socks or shoes before you put them on. If you do, they are probably too tight.
