I blame the Dems for not going the whole way as usual.
They should have subpoenaed Trump. Did he discuss his "strategy" for repeating the #BigLie. They should have brought in the people suspected of planning the Jan 6 event as well as those who participated.

We should have had testimony as close to the events as possible, not only to have a record but to tie Republicans to their anti-democratic votes.

With Republicans voting to acquit a President who actively tried and is continuing to try to destroy our form of govt, we have 2 different sets of rules in play. Republicans who spent decades trying and often succeeding to block voter access through any means necessary, but

within the legal system have discovered that they no longer have to care about the law or truth, that a lot of people (around 71,000,000) will accept any lie that is repeated often enough. Democrats haven't got the spines or the desire to fight back.

They clutch their pearls and push "unity" with traitors and civility with thugs. I think America just may be in the last decade of its democracy. I blame Democrats for that.
