#BlackHistoryMonth
In 1825, Black residents of New York City began buying over 100 plots of land north of the city. They took advantage of low property prices from subdivided farmland so they could seek refuge from the crowded and poverty-stricken neighborhoods of the time.
Soon it became home to about 1,600 people. Among them was a predominantly black community that bought affordable plots to build homes, churches, and a school. It became known as Seneca Village.
Over half of the residents owned their own homes, giving them the right to vote, which was restricted due to property quotas. As the town grew, Irish and German immigrants moved to Seneca and were tight-knit with the Black community in a rare example of integration at the time.
#BlackHistoryMonth On May 13, 1985 Philadelphia police bombed a residential neighborhood, killing 11 people, including 5 children, and destroying 65 houses and leaving around 250 people homeless.
Prior to the #MOVEbombing, Philly PD fired 10,000 rounds into the neighborhood indiscriminately, ultimately deciding to airdrop military-grade bombs on it, despite knowing that there were many children present.
All in order to capture a handful of members of a group called MOVE, who were resisting arrest.
Let me repeat that: they fired automatic weapons & dropped bombs on a community with children, then allowed the fire to spread, because some people were resisting arrest.

Oregon HB2238 has been introduced in the Oregon State House. It would effectively make any and all property, including personal property, able to be seized under a declared state of emergency by the Governor. bit.ly/3rkl3yo
Let me explain...
HB2238 seeks to modify ORS 35.350 and ORS 401.188 – both of which are current standing laws. Below is the current version and the new proposed amendments to ORS 35.350
As of right now, ORS 35.350 gives cops the ability to take possession of any items that present a danger to “persons or property”, such as seizure of meth labs, explosives, etc. that officials find dangerous. This is fairly standard law.
More kids are going to be put in cages, with one major improvement:
Left-leaning corporate media will painstakingly look for ways to frame this as positively as possible.
If you voted for Biden because Trump was mean to migrants, you're not going to like the next 4 years.
As I've noted many times, Biden helped write and sponsor some of the most strict immigration restrictions on the books, and was VP to Deporter-In-Chief Obama.
Biden is about to be worse on immigration than Trump was, with a much more compliant media.
Who built the cages, Joe?
In the article, there is only one item that is put in much larger letters than the rest.
This is what slow-walking looks like.
Yes, Trump's policies could be ended the same way they were introduced: with the swipe of a pen.
Congress is considering a bill that would be the single biggest act of gun control in American history.
It's called HR127 - Sabika Sheikh Firearm Licensing and Registration Act
Like all gun laws, HR127 will be heavily enforced against those unable to defend themselves in court: the poor, and minorities. It further marginalizes those communities, where only police and criminals will have guns.
There is SO much wrong with HR127, but here’s a summary:
1️⃣ Firearms License required for any new gun purchases or ownership transfers.
SPOILER ALERT: they're what you would expect from Jim Crow Joe, one of the architects of every oppressive policy to come out of DC for the past few decades.
Secretary of State - Antony Blinken
You're looking at the guy who's directly responsible for accelerating the Saudi-led genocide in Yemen with US taxpayer money, weapons and intelligence. He's a key player in many Middle East wars, and never for good.
