me, knowing there's no "cut" that will save justice league from being bad, and thinking about how i wanted a justice league movie since i was a little kid
still dunno how they made a justice league movie where the big bad is frigging steppenwolf and not darkseid
thinking about how much time they wasted in this movie with superman being dead and weird when its the mothereffing justice league movie
this movie and superman vs batman being just the biggest wasted opportunity for some of the greatest characters, ever.
and when i think about the toxic fandom who thinks this dark edgelord mindset captures the dc characters in any way shape or form and how they lecture those of us who were buying issues *before they were even born*
but hey, new frontier exists, and its better than those two movies and captures the actual characters. both in print and film.
"you've got 80 years of material here, with the success of avengers there's a proven multi-billion dollar audience for this content if you take care to make good--"

dc/snyder: *throws random weird shit on screen*
"i'm not the biggest death of superman fan but there's a way to make this material work, in fact there are two pretty good animated movies that use this in an entertain--"

snyder: *vomits up weirdo cgi doomsday*
"theres a clear template for batman over multiple directors, movies and actors, surely you can't screw that--"

snyder: *puts batman in a bomber jacket*
"the flash! super hero purity, its such a simple story and you can set up crisis, flashpo--"

snyder: "what if it was the flash but he looks like pieces of irregular tin glued together?"
"well they can't screw up parademons!"

2 hours later:
i mean look at the flash in his multiple incarnations here. how...
nobody wanted a good jl movie more than me. nobody! i can even argue the merits of man of steel, lest you think im a kneejerk hater. but god damn.
as others have suggested, and i co-sign, this is actually the best justice league movie:

because dems suck at framing, some advice - look at a current problem, blame it on conservative policy. repeat.

this isn't actually difficult but dems usually prefer to be the "smart one" instead of being effective
example:

"male fertility is down because republicans supported so much deregulation, now america is lagging the world in medical innovation!"

(you can be more reality based if you like but its the same freaking frame)
fwiw this is easier because there really are ties between conservative policy and american failures but what i wrote is more eye catching

History will just magically find 45 guilty he says as I look at Bush's post presidency numbers and a media landscape littered with Bushies
Unfortunately I think Nov 2020-Feb 2021 is the lowest in esteem 45 will ever be and it's all up from here. I think dreams about him being poorly regarded the way liberals want are a fantasy. I hope I am I wrong but I doubt it.

the democrats are a large coalition that earned the most votes in presidential history with one of its most progressive platforms in the modern era.
people who repeatedly failed to reign in the gop are addicted to lecturing democrats on what they have to do

happy presidents day from the timeline where we beat global warming and didnt invade iraq
"Mr President, Bin Laden determined to attack..."
"Clear my schedule. This is the priority."
"There isn't any connection between Al Qaeda and Saddam, get this shit out of my office."

the failure of the 45 and 43 presidencies means republicans still have to default to reagan when citing a gop presidency that didn't go down in flames.
even the impeached democratic president left office more popular than the two recent gop presidents.
also, and ive referenced this before, but liberal twitter has this annoying habit of not understanding that their personal pov is not always the national pov. the overall national impression of reagan is pretty positive. you don't like to think so. but it is.
